This report of survey results is divided into separate sections for each of CCRI's 24 programs and program areas. for each program, data are provided on the numbers and percentages of students responding to the survey and in each employment and educational category. In addition, data are provided on the average annual salary of employed graduates for each program, the salary range, the names of the organizations employing the graduates, the graduates' job titles, and the educational institutions and academic majors of graduates who were continu:ng their education full time. A diagram of CCRI programs and concentrations; the survey instrument; tables comparing 1987, 1988, and 1989 graduates' employment status and educational institution of transfer; and bar graphs summarizing the data for selected programs are appended. In order to obtain in'orrnation contained in this report, a survey was conducted r.,), the Office ofCareer Services on a continuous basis from January, 1990 through May, 1990. A questionnairewas mailed to all 1989 graduates and there vias an initial response rate of 37%. A follow-uptelephone survey produced an additicnal yield of 43%, for a total of 80% responding. A sampleof the questionnaire used is contained in the Appendix of this report. A summation of the surveyresults shows that 60% of the graduates are employed, 27% of the graduates are continuing theireducation, 2.5% are unavailable for employment, and 2% of the graduates continue to seekemployment. Average salaries, based on a forty hour work week, are indicated for each program.A further breakdown of these statistics can be found within the report.
