Pandit Chandrabhan Sharma, a patriot & noble son of India was born on 2nd April,1903 at village Samod, Jaipur, Rajasthan in pious Brahmin family. He came to Mumbai for higher education. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, he took part into India’s Independence Struggle and was associated with major movements like Non co-operation movement, Dandi Salt and Quit India Movement. He was ardent Gandhian and devoted his life for social and reformatory work. Chandrabhan Sharma College is a monumental tribute to this legendry freedom fighter and great son of India.

Chandrabhan Sharma College which was the dream of my father Shri. Gopal Sharma, is dedicated to my Late Grandfather Pandit Chandrabhan Sharma. The College brings a sense of satisfaction and pride. Starting an institution was on his mind for a long time. His belief was that quality education should be made available to all. He also believed in the fact that better education means better citizen and a better country. Smt. Durgadevi Sharma Charitable Trust was established with this aim. I congratulate this initiative of Chandrabhan Sharma College’s Placements & Career Guidance Cell and wish them all the best for future prospects.

handrabhan Sharma College of Arts, Science and Commerce established in the year 2004, is part of GHP Education Wing and managed by Smt. Durgadevi Sharma Charitable Trust. The College is nestled in a picturesque campus on the hillside of Powai. At CSC we groom the new generation of youth to excel morally and academically. We emphasize on value based learning and the focus is on understanding and not mere accumulation of knowledge. The college had a very modest beginning with around 100 students, but with the vision of the Trustees, the Principal and a team of qualified and dedicated staff members it has grown to strength of 2000+ students. The college emphasizes on building values, nurturing talent and developing the intellectual faculty of the students. The degree college started in 2008 is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and offers various courses like B.Com, B.Sc(IT), B.M.M (Advertising & Journalism),B.M.S ( HR, Marketing & Finance ),B.B.I ,B.F.M , B.A.F and B.C.A.
