Title I Alternative Lesson Plan Week of April 14th-17th, 2020 Reading 1. Comprehension: Who, What, Where? Watch video clip for review of using Wh- questions to help us understand what we read. I have attached p. 89 to follow along as we review this skill on the video. 2. Grammar: Subject/Verb Agreement Watch video clip for review of how to correctly write sentences. I have attached p. 55 for you to review with me as you watch the video. ***Your assignment that must be emailed to me is page 56. Read each sentence carefully. On a separate sheet of paper write the word that correctly completes each sentence. Make sure you put your name, date, and Reading at the top of paper. Have an adult take a picture of your paper and send to my email. Math 1. Concepts: Money-reviewing counting coins Watch video clip as we review what each coin is worth and how to count coins for a total. I have attached "Counting Coins" for you to see as we review. We will review p. 7 together. Practice counting coins at your house!!! 2. Computation: Addition Story Problems Watch video clip of solving a story problem by acting it out, drawing a picture, or writing a number sentence. ***Your assignment is to solve the 3 problems on p.42 which is attached. Please show your strategy and write the answer on a sheet of paper. Take a picture and email it to me. Please continue to work on your xtramath at home. Hopefully when we return we can have a really fast and fun flashdown!!
