Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Gorinley fuperal home in Phoe- nicia. Rev. Ralph Darmstadt, P ^ o r of the Memorial United Methodist church, officiated. Burial is in the Shandaken Rural cemetery. Mrs. Persons is survived by her husband, Clifford Persons of Woo<^apd Valley, two sons, Ernest and Gary Smith at home, a daughter, Mrs. Carla Hoag of Saugerties, and two brothers, DeForrest and W il- liam Smith, iboth of Phoenicia.- Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 9, 1924, the daughter Ernest and Hattie Lifer Smith. She was a member of the Phoenicia United Methoddst church. Memorial contributiops may be made to the church or to the American Cancer society. Club Ificorporates Phoenicia, April 26. — The Shandaken Senior Citizens club filed incorporation papers Tues- day and the official name of the organization became the Senior Citizens Club of the Town of Sh^dakep, Inc. The incum- bent officers were considered newly elected as of that date, and the club will meet May 8 to vote on revised by-laws. Mrs. Ros^ F. Persons, 48, a Ijfelong resident of Phoenicia, died Saturday night at the Kingstop hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Gorinley fuperal home in Phoe­nicia. Rev. Ralph Darmstadt, P ^ o r of the Memorial United Methodist church, officiated. Burial is in the Shandaken Rural cemetery.

Mrs. Persons is survived by her husband, Clifford Persons of Woo<^apd Valley, two sons, Ernest and Gary Smith at home, a daughter, Mrs. Carla Hoag of Saugerties, and two brothers, DeForrest and W il­liam Smith, iboth of Phoenicia.-

Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 9, 1924, the daughter Ernest and Hattie Lifer Smith.

She was a member of the Phoenicia United Methoddst church. Memorial contributiops may be made to the church or to the American Cancer society.
