The injured guest was Mrs. Fanny Landman, 80, of New York city. Sgt. Ray Dirnn said that Mrs. Landman was struck by a 1953 truck operated by Willard Benjamin, as she walked along Elm street near the Hotel Tyrol. The truck was backing from the driveway of the Welten home.

Mrs. Landman was taken to M argaretville hospital by the Goimley ambulance. Treated by Dr. ^yeinberg, she was found to have suffered* a compound fracture in the right leg, a laceration over her left eye and general contusions.
