CF Printing & Reporting – detailed notes• Dean Harmon engineered this feature!• You can use CSS with cfdocument, works well. • cfdocument and cfdocumentsection rely on what’s inside <html>your

page</html>. Make sure you have a complete html document with all styles included.

• New 7.0.1 attribute: src <cfdocument src=http://zengarden.com> anything here is ignored </cfdocument>

• Use cfdocumentsection for multiple headers and footers with the cfdocument tag. Bug #61118 should be voted for. I’m not sure how.

• Report Builder is a Windows only app (for now).• Use report functions to do ANY cfml coding• 7.0.1 added new “htmlformattedtext” attribute. Allows limited set of

XHTML markup for formatting reports.• Making better Excel files depends on lack of spaces! Zoom in and

move fields together.• Use shared scopes to get around parameter passing roadblocks.• How to force a page break – do what is said in the Breeze preso• For more details: www.cfreport.org
