What you will need:
BUY YARN continued...
The beloved granny stitch is fun and colorful when adapted to an easy
chevron pattern! Use a splash of 11 colors as designed, or as many (or as few)
colors as you wish.
Throw measures 46" wide x 59" long (117 x 150 cm).
Special StitchesCl (3-double crochet cluster) = Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook (2 loops remain on hook); [yarn over, insert hook in same stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 2 times, yarn over, draw through all 4 loops on hook.Double cluster (double Cl) = Cl in space between last shell and next Cl, skip space between next two Cls, Cl in space between last Cl and next shell.Double shell = (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in indicated stitch or space.Shell = 3 dc in indicated stitch or space.
Notes1. Throw is made in a chevron pattern
which consists of a series of double shell "peaks" and double cluster
"valleys", with 2 shells worked between peaks and valleys. You may need to work several rows before the chevron is clearly visible.
2. To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Proceed with new color. Cut old color.
