THOSE WHO KEEP TRADITIONAL HUNGER FASTING ARE OUT OF ISLAM
I am publishing my reply to one of the reader of my articles and I believe
this reply is equally good for those who want to know what is written in the
Quran for Ramadan fasting.
Please do not ignore this post and do not leave any comment until you read

Dear Readers,
I thank you for reading my articles on the Quran and I appreciate your
concerns that you have raised in your email.
You have asked for my source of information and dictionaries. First of all I
would like to mention that I have lived in Makkha, Jedda, Taif and many
other cities and remote parts of Saudi Arabia where I got familiar with the
orthodox old Badduin and modern Arab culture and gained proficiency in
Arabic language. I have also spent more than 16 years in memorizing the
Quran by heart, studying Hadith, Fiqah, jurisprudence and other Islamic
literature, and gain the substantial knowledge of the Semitic languages
such as Hebrews and Aramaic known as the mother tongue of the Arabic
and the language of the earlier revelations of Allah. However, all reputable
Arabic lexicons or thesaurus compiled by Western authors are equally
good for basic understanding of the words of the Quran. Oxford University
Press have published a wonderful Arabic dictionary and so many other
reputable Western publishers and Universities have published good
dictionaries, which you can use. Get the “General” meaning of the Arabic
words of the Quran from these dictionaries and avoid taking the “Koran”
meaning of the same word because the “Koran” meaning given in the
dictionaries are distorted meanings that were never used in the Arabic
language. The “Koran” meanings are given just for courtesy and to give
regards to the traditional Islamic literature but not to learn the language. I
will not advise you to use any Quranic dictionary compiled by any scholars
of the Quran because they have made these dictionaries to justify their
misleading translations. Also you cannot rely only on one dictionary
because some dictionaries mix the meaning of the similar Persian words
that are exactly the same as the Arabic words. So, you need to carefully
consult more than one good Arabic dictionaries to reach the true meaning
of any word of the Quran. You can also try google translator by copying
and pasting the words of Quran one by one, but not the whole verse
because the distorted meaning of the Quran have been fed in the memory
of google translator as well due to which you cannot get the correct
translation of a complete verse. However, a single word or a small phrase
of the Quran can somehow give you correct meaning on the google
translator, especially if you take the meaning of the root words by deleting
all vowels, i.e. alif (ا), wao(و) and ya(ی) but you have to verify them from
other dictionaries as well. “Almaani” dictionary on internet is somehow
better than others but again it gives you the meaning in both categories, i.e.
“Koran” and “General”. Avoid taking meaning from the “Koran” category as
they are distorted meaning as mentioned above. In “General” category
there are so many other sub categories like “legal”, “finance”, “medical” and
“engineering” etc. which you can choose according to the context and topic
of the verse. This is in fact an advance category which requires your
linguistic skill and experience. “Reverso”, “Sasi” and “Williams & Noorgate”
are okay for some extent but you cannot get the correct meaning of many
Quranic words from them. The Arabic lexicon “Edward Williams Lane”
gives you the meaning of old Arabic dictionaries, if you are keen to know
the meaning given by early scholars but it is confusing.
I always refer my source in my research articles. I consult countless
dictionaries for each word of the Quran together with the study of
etymology of individual words and their use in the Classical Arabic
Literature, other verses of the Quran and in the modern language, and their
scientific use in the Arabic text books and scientific literature. I consult
history and use my linguistic and analytical skills and follow correct Arabic
grammar, which is important to derive the correct translation of the verses
of the Quran. I do not use my personal ideas in the translation of Allah’s
words because I have no dogma, no school of thought and follow no belief
other than the words of the Quran. I do not follow any scholar nor do I bring
someone else’s theory in the translation of the Quran. When I translate the
Quran I keep aside my previous knowledge about Islam and the Quran that
was given to me by my parents, teachers and the scholars or whatever I
have already studied and learned from all other sources. To translate the
Quran, I just follow the recognized grammatical rules and correct
vocabulary without mixing anything so that I can retrieve the true message
of the Quran in its true form.
You have also mentioned that you have searched various sights and found
similar meaning of UNZILA and none of them was imperative.
UNZILA is not a noun or root word that is found in its composed verb form
which is known ,(NAZAL) نزل but a 4th form of the Arabic word (UNZILA) انزل
as command or imperative verb in the grammar. You can find the meaning
of the word نزل (NAZAL) in all Arabic dictionaries but you need to consult
the books of Arabic grammar to see how Arabic verbs are formed from any
root word and which verb is called what and how different verbs are used in
a sentence. For your quick reference I have copied, from Arabic grammar,
the following pattern of first four Arabic verb forms, which you can see
yourself in any certified book of Arabic grammar.
Arabic Verb Form Pattern: افعل–ي فعل-ف ع ل فعل from,فعل -
Arabic word نزل (NAZAL) follows the same pattern of Arabic verbs:
ل ل - ا نز ل - ي نز .نزل from ,نزل - ن ز
The 4th form of Arabic verb is called imperative or command form, which is
built by prefixing “alif” to the form 1 verb and putting a sukuun over the first
radical and this form of verb is always used to “order” or “request” for doing
something, such as ک ت ب (wrote/written) is the past verb, يکتب (writes/writing)
is a present form and اکتب (uktub) is an order to “write”. The same pattern of
the Arabic verb forms is used in the Quran.
The Quran has used all above stated verb forms of نزل (NAZAL) in many
verses and recognised the command form انزل in its true form together with
the other forms of نزل (NAZAL). In the following verse 23:29 an imperative
verb of نزل is used: ر المنزلي ا وأنت خي زلا مباركا is a أنزلن in which (23:29) وقل رب أنزلن من
combination of imperative verb ل .the first person objective pronoun ي + أ نز
Unfortunately, our scholars have changed the above imperative verb ل أ نز
into the past verb throughout the Quran in the translation but they could not
change the same imperative verb ل in the translation of the above verse أ نز
23:29 and everyone translated it correctly in an imperative sense instead of
taking ل as the past verb. However, due to their non Quranic belief and أ نز
lack of knowledge our scholars did not follow the same grammatical rule in
the translation of other verses of the Quran in which the same verb ل is أ نز
used alone or with the combination of pronouns like أنزلنا (Anzalna). Had our
scholars translated Quran using the true grammar, their non Quranic
beliefs, pagan dogma and traditional myth would have been abolished
automatically. Therefore, taking the correct meaning from words like أنزلنا (Anzalna) and imperative use of the verb انزل was not only hard for them but
it was also against their religion, which is definitely not Islam.
In the verses 3:198, 32:19, 18:107 of the Quran the word نزلا ‘Nuzula’ is
used in its primary meaning derived from the same root word ” نزل ” and it is
used to mean gift, entertainment, hospitality, activity, move, business,
regard as honoured guest, to entertain, to offer hospitality, friendliness,
warm reception, welcome, to retreat, renaissance, awakening, restoration,
revival, renaissance, resumption, returning, turning towards, rejuvenation,
renewal, to renovate and to accommodate. Therefore, according to the
grammar the imperative verb انزل will be translated to order or request doing
the same actions as described above. Likewise the use of the present verb
ل can be seen in the verse 501:2. I can give you so many examples of ي ن ز
correct use of the different verbs of نزل in the Quran but to avoid the length
of this article I will leave it to you to read Quran in your own time and study
the verbs of نزل used in the Quran.
So, we cannot ignore or bend the grammatical rules of Arabic language to
get the translation of the Quran according to our traditional beliefs.
However, our scholars have changed many verb forms in the translation of
the Quran to insert their own thoughts and altered Allah’s actual statement
revealed in the Quran. Therefore, just to prove our traditional myth that the
Quran was revealed in Ramadan, we cannot change Allah’s statement in
the verse 2:185, in which Allah orders us to do the prescribed actions
mentioned above in Ramadan which is actually performing and keeping the
Quranic صوم (Saom) in Ramadan against the pagan “Fast” in which they
used to remain hungry from dawn to dusk. The Quranic word صوم (Saom) is
derived from the proto root صم (SM) to mean “still stand against something”,
“be hard like stone” and “act like deaf to others”. This is a clear dishonesty
of our scholars who derive the meaning of the Quranic word صوم (Saom)
fromthe “noun” صوم instead of its root word صم ignoring the rule of taking
the meaning from the root word by deleting all vowels. Also in the
translation of the verse 2:185 they have completely ignored the linguistics
rules of the clauses of the speech which must be kept separated from each
other. The first clause of the whole speech of verse 2:185 is completed on
the word “ ى للناس “ : ”للناس The next clause of the .”شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدا
speech commences with the conjunction و (wao) and goes up to “ وبينات من and gives its (wao) و The next clause again starts with the conjunction. ”الد ى
complete statement up to “ هر ف ليصمه and further clauses ”والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الش
commence similarly with the same conjunction و (wao). To fulfil the evil
purpose of making “the hunger fast of pagan” lawful, they have unlawfully
dissected the word “ والفرقان” of the next clause of speech and translated the
words” وبينات من الدى والفرقان ” instead of keeping the word “ والفرقان” in the same
clause of speech where it was fixed by Allah. On top of that, the pagan
scholars and their ignorant followers started writing articles in the so called
Quranic magazines and holding DARS - E - QURAN to misguide people in
which they have been preaching that the Quran is the Furqan ( الفرقان) that
differentiates between right and wrong. Whereas, in fact the word الفرقان is a
definite noun of the root word فرق (FARQ) to mean subtract, take away,
minus, separate and cut off. So, technically الفرقان was used as a
“subtracter”, “separator” and “dissector” or a scissor to subtract, to cut off,
to make them separate from Allah’s charter of Islam, who used to give
evidence from you ( فمن شهد منكم) for hunger fasting of Ramadan dedicated to
or for the Moon ( هر ف ليصمه Therefore, according to the clause of speech .(الش
they are out of Islam who keep the (2:185) ”والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الشهر ف ليصمه “
said hunger fasting for Ramadan.
Furthermore, you may find انزل (UNZILA) on internet websites as a baby
name, which does not portray the action of this verb and incorrectly used
as a noun in a fashion of giving name to children from the Quran for
blessing but they don’t know its correct meaning and use.
You have mentioned in your email that you have searched for pagan rituals
but could not come across anything similar to Islam in pagans. I cannot
comment on how you did your research but this is a well-known fact that
the pagans used to perform Hajj with its usual rituals, they used to sacrifice
animals and were practicing so many similar rituals that we practice in the
current Islam. There are so many authentic books on the civilization of
Arabia written by famous historians. You can also get the same information
from books on Archeology of Arabia. If you are still unable to find anything
just read “the Archeological evidence of Moon god religion in the Middle
East” or get information from the British Museum or the British Library. My
main sources are the research and archeological discoveries published by
world class universities like Oxford, Cambridge, London and Harvard
Universities and other institutions of similar reputation together with the
British Museum, the British Library and so many authentic books and fact
finding research material of reputable authors together with the true history
mentioned in the Quran by Allah’s own words.
You also want to know about WARKA-O-MARARKEEN and SAJDA if there
is no concept of SALAT in Islam and if there is no MASJID, and also the
interpretation of SOAM, HAJJ and ZAKAT.
More or less everything from the above is explained in my replies to other
readers, which I will forward to you, except the in depth details of SAOM as
I am still writing on it, which will be forwarded to everyone as soon as it is
complete.
However, regarding the meaning of the Quranic word مسجد (Masjid) or its
plural مساجد (Masajid) or with the definite article المسجد (Al Masjid) or plural
you must keep in mind the historical ground fact that (Al Msajid) المساجد
Makkah was conquered by Muslims in December 629. They took its
administrative control in 630 and the idols were removed from the Kaaba
and other places. The revelation of the Quran was started in the end of 609
and completed in about 23 years, and from 609 to 630 idols were
worshiped everywhere. Muslims were not allowed to enter Makkah before
December 629, they were even pushed back from Hadaibia a year before
conquering Makkah. If they had any mosque in Makkah throughout this
period Muslims would not have migrated to Madina. Also all Muslims were
with the Prophet (pbuh) and there was no one behind to manage the
mosques, if the mosques were even existed there. Therefore, the plural
word المساجد (Al Msajid) used in the verse 2:187 refers to the places of idol
worship used by Pagans only.
