COURSE DESCRIPTION: This four-day postgraduate course provides comprehensive coverage of practical head and neck & endocrine topics, including oropharynx, larynx, nasal and oral cavities, ear, salivary gland, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and GI endocrine. The course also covers skin, bone, soft tissue, and hematopoietic lesions of the head and neck. The course emphasizes diagnostic issues encountered in everyday practice, highlighting common pitfalls and how to avoid them. In addition to CME credit, learners will also be eligible for SAM credit for the purposes of meeting the American Board of Pathology requirements for Maintenance of Certi�cation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: • Review the assessment process used to arrive at speci�c diagnoses. • Recognize unusual entities and apply criteria for their diagnosis. • Calculate new criteria for pathologic diagnoses in head and neck pathology. • Apply a modern staging system of tumors discussed. • Di�erentiate between diagnoses of malignancy as opposed to non-neoplastic mimics of malignancy.

TARGET AUDIENCE: The course is targeted to Pathologists. This coursemay also be of interest to physicians who practice Endocrinology, Oncology and Hematology, Otolaryngology and Surgery.

ACCREDITATION: The Harvard Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Harvard Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 31.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
