Azure Class Azure Class have had a lovely week exploring

our 'Wizard of Oz' theme where the

students have used the lightbox to make a

yellow brick road, made rainbows, chose

different coloured hearts for the

tinman, built an Emerald City and

explored the different characters and textures

involved within the story.

Amber Class

Welcome to Cafe Amber! Amber Class have been using snack time as a learning opportunity to develop

their life skills. We have introduced three new jobs into the classroom; they are chef, waiter/waitress and

cleaner. The chef has been practicing their food preparation skills such as

cutting, slicing, and spreading; whilst our server has been practicing their

order taking, graph reading and communication skills. Finally, our

cleaners have been doing a fabulous job of washing up and

cleaning down the surfaces after. I am sure Amber Class will be more

than happy to show you their newly acquired skills at home.

This week in Pink Class our topic Let's Explore has been in full swing and we have had so much fun

investigating balloons and bubbles. We are loving the rhyme Tiny Tim the Turtle and using the bubble machine to make hundreds and hundreds of bubbles which we all find hilarious! We have been exploring the pullback turtles in the

water tray and developing our fine motor skills by using the spray and squirt bottles to bath them. We have also been learning to use visuals to make requests for more and blowing bubbles in paint.

We loved bouncing the balloons on the parachute and had so much fun blowing up balloons and letting them go. We also discovered we could make some very cheeky noises with them!

Opal Class has unfortunately been closed for a few days but we had lots of fun at the beginning of the week. We did some amazing listening and then waiting our turn in our attention box session this week

with the "picnic game" being a firm favourite. We had some autumn fun decorating our cakes as well as role-play and puzzles with our friends.

Squid Game Warning

Some of you may or may not be aware of a new TV series on Netflix with a certificate guide of 15. The series is extremely violent and focuses on a game show which has deadly consequences and very

A reminder that if your child is displaying ANY of the 3 main covid symptoms: • A high temperature • A new cough • A change to their sense of taste / smell Please DO NOT send them into school but instead, keep them at home and organise for them to have a PCR test. Your child must self-isolate whilst you are waiting for the result. If your child is unable to tolerate a PCR test, they must self-isolate for 10 days.
