WOMEN’S MINISTRY

UNDERCONSTRUCTION

All women are invited out to Women Under Construction tonight at 6:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Vicky Loman will be teaching an interesting message about a woman, “called out by God front and center.” Italian food is on the menu and childcare is provided for children 0-11 years of age.

AFRICA TRIPThe new deadline for the July 12-23 trip to Zambia is today. Please drop your deposit and passport number in the chatterbox. For more information on the trip, and up coming meeting, email Bob Robertson at Seventx7@gmail.com.

BAPTISMSOn Sunday, April 11, baptisms will be held after all three services inside the sanctuary in VBF’s new heated, baptismal. Please bring a change of clothing and a towel.

ROCK & WORSHIP ROADSHOWThe Rock & Worship Roadshow is returning to Las Vegas on Sunday, April 11 at the Orleans Arena. This year the bands include Mercy Me, David Crowder Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive, and Sidewalk Prophets. Tickets are still just $10 at the door. VBF will once again be providing all

the volunteers needed for the concert, including promotion, security, transportation, ushers, and merchandise sellers. If you would like to volunteer to help with the concert, contact Curt Swade via email at cts0117@gmail.com.

SERVE LAS VEGASThe fi rst Serve Las Vegas of 2010 will be on Saturday, April 17. All participants will receive a free T-Shirt. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Stay tuned for details of this event!

VBF ICE SKATINGWe have rented out the Las Vegas Ice Center from 3:30-5:30 PM on Sunday, April 18. That means there is no cost to you so mark your calendar for this fun family event!

BROWN BAGVBF’s Brown Bag ministry is one of our outreaches to the poor of Las Vegas. Brown Bags containing ready to eat meals are available for you to take and hand out to those in need. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, please fi ll out a response card and either drop in chatterbox or offering. Any donations to

help support this ministry are appreciated. Please make checks payable to VBF and memo Brown Bag.

SET FREEValley has a Spiritual 12-step group, called Set Free that meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM in the Jr. High room, located in the Youth Center. This support group is for any person or family member who is dealing with addiction. For more information, please contact the church offi ce at 254-2251. Sorry no childcare available.
