PARDON OUR MESS-We had a plumbing leak on Thursday and had a lot of water on the floor all throughout the church. Thanks to the people that came in and helped move the water out and fix things up!

JOYS: God provided a beautiful day for Mother’s Day celebration! All the women were given a small Spring plant and a bookmark to take home. Ruth Robbins gave an interesting and informative sermon that everyone could reflect upon. CONGRATS to Donna & Randi Fenton with the birth of their new grandson, Ethan Christopher, born Wednesday!

CONCERNS: Pray for Tom Hecker as his knee surgery wound had to be reopened. Waymon Hughen is recuperating from his knee surgery. He had a heart attack during that surgery. Pray for him and Jean. Brenda Cannon had successful surgery on her hip last Fr iday, then under -went an additional surgery on Monday for the other hip. We pray for Ron and Brenda and for her complete healing and recovery. We are all mourning the loss of Bill Carlisle. He will be buried in Magnolia, AR on Saturday, May 20th. Visitation is on Friday at the Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia. See his obituary and leave a message for Laura at http://www.lewisfuneralhome.biz/obituaries/William-Carlisle-5/ Carole Stubblefield pointed out that Bill was a great person and supporter of this church and a real blessing to remember. Steve Mobley broke some r ibs in an accident. Please pray for Judy and Steve. Mary Rist is still under a doctor ’s care for her double pneumonia. Please pray for her complete recovery. Pat Metcalf has been diagnosed with pneumonia. Please pray that he stays down long enough to get better. Kathy & Ray Dube has asked us to pray for Rev Rhett Ansley, Senior Pastor at Wildwood United Methodist ( their new church home) who has been diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis and has been advised to get all the rest possible and remove himself from the pulpit for the next two (2) months to make sure the treatment has maximum effect. We pray for Kim Gordoa, as her mother left this life on Wednesday night.
