• Think back to when you first got into Real Estate.

• Remember the other eager new agents getting started at the same time?

• How many are still in Real Estate today?

• Now, think back to your first pre-licensing class.

• A clock started ticking

• And money started flowing from your wallet for classes, board dues, MLS

access, lock boxes, business cards, signs

• The time between when you start spending money to when you close enough transactions to

support your family is what we refer to as …

The Real Estate Valley of Death!

What if you could tell everyone definitively that you know the solution to avoiding the valley

of death? Well you can, once you’ve got your head in the game.

New Ignite-isms

You speak Keller, right? Now learn to speak new Ignite!

Ignite-ism Definition

Program: Ignite is more than a course, it is a deep-dive, full immersion in to the essential

building blocks of a real estate career. Participants will attend 3, 3-hour weekly sessions taught

be Ignite Faculty over 4 weeks, practicing, refining, and implementing the skills they need to

launch successful real estate businesses, as well as completing integrated Missions.

Ignite Faculty: Incredible Ignite Instructors are not individual contributors, they are part of a

team aligned around a common vision, working in cohesion to create momentum throughout

the program and achieve Market Center goals

Ignite Director: Whether there is a single instructor or a faculty of multiple instructors, the

Market Center should appoint a central figure—the TL, PC, or the ALC committee chair—to

coordinate the program and help the instructors hold the Cappers in Training accountable. This

is not a full time job! With proper planning, and clear standards and expectations, the Ignite

Director should not have to manage the program on a daily basis, they will be able to lead it at

a high level.

Cappers in Training: Ignite is your vehicle for transforming your new recruits into top

producers—every agent in the program has the potential to become a Capper, a Mega Agent, or

even Rookie of the Year. Get them into that mindset right away!

Missions

Cappers in Training complete structured assignments outside of the classroom in 2, 3 hour

12

weekly time blocks to actively engage in their real estate practice, watching videos, building

tools, and developing the real- life skills that will make their classroom experience more

meaningful, as well as directing them to the tools and resources that will empower their self-

sufficiency.

Covenants: To underscore the importance of the commitment the Cappers in Training are

about to make, they will sign a covenant detailing the responsibilities they will be taking on

in their new career. But they are not the only ones signing the covenant—their significant

others will also be asked to sign, adding accountability on the home front as well.

Ignite Homebase: The new Ignite Homebase is your go-to website for both Cappers in

Training and Faculty. This user-friendly page provides easy access to all materials, videos,

toolkit items, and more. The front page is student-centric, allowing for the Cappers in

Training to retrieve their own Missions, Course Manuals, Toolkits, and Videos.

teams, in the MC, so they learn to be self-sufficient, help and encourage each other, and so they

can access help when they need it.

The new Ignite Homebase is built for the students, the Cappers in Training to be self-sufficient.

To get used to accessing resources online on myKW, and especially to easily find everything

they need for Ignite. They can get their course manuals, their Missions, links to the videos we

ask them to watch, a link to myTracker, and many other resources, like their Toolkit and Scripts

Catalog.

And we thought about YOU too! When you click on the Faculty Resources button under Gary’s

smiling mug, you come to the Faculty Page.

Let’s explore some more …

When you’re looking for the specific teaching resources for each Power Session, simply click

on the flame, and this is what you’ll get.

CLICK

Download the Mission for Power Session 1 first. This is pre-work assigned to the students to

complete before attending their first day of Ignite. It’s important that you know what is

expected of them. At the beginning of the class, ask probing questions about the Mission to

uncover what they learned, any aha’s they had, or any questions they came across.

Download and review your Lesson Plan to prepare for teaching your Power Session.

There are two options for getting your Instructor Course Manual for this Power Session,

1. Download it from here and print it.

2. Or, your Market Center will be supplying printed copies of all the Power Sessions.

Download the PowerPoint for the Power Session you’re teaching.

Access videos to be shown and discussed in class from the links are on this webpage.

Note: It’s important to note that the students are required to watch videos on their

Mission. It is advisable that you also watch them so you can discuss them at the

beginning of class. You’ll find direct links to their Mission videos on the Student

Homebase.

18

The Ignite Faculty should download and review in preparation for training …

The Student Mission. Why? Even though this is pre-work for the students to complete before

attending class, it’s essential that you know what their assignments were so you can ask about

them and answer any questions they have. Think about this … if you ask someone to complete

Mission pre-work and then never bring it up, what happens to rest of the Missions? Right,

when the student realizes it’s not important to you, they will not bother to complete them.

CLICK

The Lesson Plan. There is one for every Power Session. The lesson plans are essential for the

timing of lessons and activities to complete in class.

CLICK

The instructor version of the Power Session. Each power session is full of robust instructor

notes, providing direction, scripts, questions to ask, and ways to supplement with your own

experience.

CLICK

The PPT for each session. You asked for these, and we provided them! The PPT is essentially a

guidepost for you as you work through the Power Session. It emphasizes all of the activities!

CLICK

Finally, we’ve provided some in-class videos. These are to be shown and discussed in class and

we’ve provided easy links to access them.

19

20

myTracker … this handy, easy-to-use online tracking and accountability system will be used by

all your KW students in Ignite.

They can access it by typing in daily104.com and logging in to their smartphone, laptop, or

tablet.

21

AND, it will be used by YOU, the faculty, to share results and leaderboards with your class.

If you are not designated in a leadership role in your MC, then in order for you to access

myTracker, your MC must enter your name as Ignite Faculty. Then you’ll have full access to

the reports.

22

This is a sample of a class report.

23

24

25

Now we’ll walk through the 5 steps to ignition!

1. First all all, believe in the success of your agents. Commit to the standards your MC has set

and beat that 80% drop out rate!

2. Fully commit to the Daily 10/4 and myTracker. What this means is asking about it daily,

ensuring your students are completing it, celebrating those who are completing it and

reminding them they are developing a success habit of lead generation! Don’t accept

excuses! Help them discover ways they can get this done.

Use myTracker to pull up the leaderboard reports and share them with your class every

day.

26

Preparing to teach means …

27

Every PS has an Action Reveal – the accountability piece where you ask each Capper in

Training to report on their activities and milestones.

Every activity has been designed to give your Cappers in Training the practice they need while

in class under your guidance and with the support of their fellow students.

Allowing the students to practice with Role Plays sets them up for success when it comes to

Real Plays.

As we’ve said, there are some videos to show in class. You lead a discussion around the video

and ask for Aha’s.

Remind your Cappers in Training of these goals of Ignite!

And finally, instead of tell, tell, tell, ask lots of questions and ask for aha’s. At the end of each

PS there is an activity called Aha’s to Achievement – be sure to go over this each time. This is

where the student can reflect and self-discover their own path to achievement, always avoiding

the Real Estate Valley of Death!

28

Part of caring about the success of your Cappers in Training is knowing where they stand. How

well they are doing with their Daily 10/4. Are they making progress? Or are they falling off?

And why?

Share the results of the whole class, or team and congratulate any success!

Be sure to pass on what you learned about your students to the next Instructor so continuity

occurs!

29

You want your Cappers in Training to become self-sufficient and to learn on their own where to

go for answers. Set up teams and encourage competition. Also, let them know where they can

find help – not always from you! Have a network of other agents who can help with answers.

Instead of answering their questions outright, ask them for the answer, ask the class. You will

be teaching them to think on their own and use other resources besides you.

Always recognize success and you’ll encourage more of the same!

30

31

Remember that Ignite’s ONE Thing is Lead generation! Better for a new agent to get an appointment and not know what to do, th

32

And your ONE thing that will help them the most – is holding them accountable to Lead gen!

It’s not confrontation … it’s carefrontation!
