If you would like to provide monetary support, become a Friend of the Feast*!$325 could provide boxes for 5 families.
$195 could provide boxes for 3 families.
$65 could provide a box for 1 family.
$15 grocery gift card could provide a ham or turkey for a family.

Thousands of families struggle to keep food on the table. Thanksgiving week can be even more financially stressful when students are home from school for more than just the holiday meal. Through participation in the annual Thanks for Giving food drive, Cobb County and Marietta City Schools capture the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
With harvesting hands and a helping heart, please host a food drive and collect the following items:
q Dressing mix / gravy
q Cranberry sauce
q Canned or instant potatoes (sweet or white)
q Canned green/yellow vegetables
q Non-refrigerated pie shell and pumpkin pie mix
q Dried or canned milk
q Roasting pan
q Dried beans
q Peanut butter
q Canned meat, tuna, or ham
q Rice, pasta, or cereal
q Soup
q Bread or rolls
q Canned fruit
q $15 gift certificate from a local grocer for a turkey*

Gobble the Competition!School-to-school competition for most items collectedStuff Your Barrels! Fill your barrel to the absolute MAX and overflow into boxes. Each collected food item counts as one point. Be sure to start early to collect enough sturdy empty boxes!
Categorize the Canned Goods! Categorize and pre-sort your food items for an extra 250 points.
Gather Gift Cards! One extra point will be rewarded for every dollar in gift cards donated.

Thanks for Giving Turkey TipsHOST A HARvEST! Invite your team leaders to a food drive kick-off to generate excitement. Call us at 770.428.2601 if you would like for a CFR representative to attend.
COUNT YOUR CROPS! Keep a running list of the number of items received. This will make it easier on you and your group to announce a winner if you are hosting an internal competition. To make your collection even easier, CFR can provide your school with a collection barrel and promotion materials to download.
THANKFUL ASSISTANTS! Recruit volunteers to help pack and load collected items on your scheduled pick-up day.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Gift cards can easily be lost. Please package them separate of your food donation and give directly to the CFR representative on your school pick-up day.
• Items in glass containers break easily and therefore cannot be accepted.
• Perishable items cannot be accepted
