HEALTH TALK ON COMMON ORTHO PROBLEM & ERGONOMICS

A Health Talk on common ortho problems and ergonomics was organized on 20th June 2013 in as-

sociation with Apollo Hospitals, Ayanambakkam. Dr. Ravi Kirubananthan a specialist in Revision Hip & Knee Replacement & Reconstructive surgery, had convened the session through participative mode by way of demonstrating simple physical exer-cises related to Sitting Postures, Upper/ Lower Limb & Spin Cord, which can be practiced at our Workplace. Dr. Ravi instantly clarified the queries raised by the audience related to ortho problems. Overall the session was a very useful one.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT CCT

CCT in association with Apollo Hospitals, Ayanambakkam organized a Blood donation camp on 21st

June 2013. Dr. B.K. Madhan Kumar, Blood Bank, Apollo Specialty Hospital headed the Team. Em-

ployees from CCT as well as Contractual workforce volunteered for the donation. Around 32 units of

Blood was collected which would serve the cancer patients, and babies with some kind of Leukemia

and tumors who constantly need blood and blood products.
