Blood Donation Camp

Voluntary Blood Donation is an activity of immense social importance. NSS AUMP organized a blood donation camp on 3rd Oct. 2019 in the university campus. The Blood Donation Camp was organized with the objective to extend support for this crucial need of the society and inculcate the culture of social concern and empathy in the lives of student NSS volunteers. The event was facilitated by the authorities of Blood Bank, Department of Pathology, JA Hospital Gwalior, in the Blood Donation Camp was organized in the Foyer of Block-A and rooms 115 and 116.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated with the opening remarks of Hon'ble Raja Babu

Singh, IG, Gwalior & Chambal Division, Gwalior and Lt Gen V K Sharma, Hon’ble VC, AUMP.

Faculty, students, staff members and 200 NSS volunteers of AUMP enthusiastically contributed in

the blood donation drive and selflessly donated 272 units of blood. The camp concluded at 1710

hrs with the closing remarks by Chairman, NSS, Major Gen. Dr. S. C. Jain,VSM** who praised the

whole hearted enthusiasm of the NSS volunteers. He also thanked the authorities of JA Hospital

for their cooperation and hard work. Chairman, NSS, Major Gen. Dr. S. C. Jain,VSM** thanked all

donors who made the camp a success by selfless act of blood donation.
