CALIBRATION

measuring instruments in its calibration laboratory or onsite at your premises. Product quality, operational safetyand cost effectiveness relate directly to an accurate andreliable registration of the process variables. Therefore,you should entrust the calibration of your measuringinstruments, in the calibration laboratory or on site, to acompetent partner.

Consequently, calibration at regular intervals assures thequality of the respective product or service on the basis ofinternationally comparable measurement results. NDT

Trustworthy performance of a component or structure depends on pre-service quality of the component and in-servicedegradation of the component under operating conditions. The role of non-destructive Testing (NDT) in ensuring pre-servicequality and also monitoring in-service degradation to avoid premature failure of the components/structures. There aremany NDT techniques based on various physical principals. The end objective of NDT is detection and characterization ofanomalies such as defects, stresses and microstructural degradations in materials. This is accomplished by establishingcorrelation between a non destructively measured physical/ derived parameter and quantitative information ondefects/stresses/microstructures. The NDT information together with design parameters are taken into consideration forevaluation of integrity and life assessment of the components/ structures.
