Fordcsystems,ensurecorrectpolarityof48Vdcconnections:RTNis+and48Vdcis.Earthgroundshoulduseatwoholelugforsafety.
4.Attachsignalcablestootherdevices.

6.TurnONallthepowersources.
ToDisconnect:
1.TurnOFFallpowersourcesandequipmentthatistobeattachedtothisproduct. Foracsystems,removeallpower

TheNE1032usesawirespeed,nonblockingswitchingfabricthatprovidessimultaneouswirespeedtransportofmultiplepacketsatlowlatencyonallports.
Port ConfigurationTheNE1032containsthefollowingethernetports:
Thirtytwo10GigabitEthernet(GbE)SmallFormPluggablePlus(SFP+)portswhichalsosupportlegacy1GbEconnections
Transceiver ConfigurationSFP+ports,whenusedin10GbEmode,canbepopulatedwithopticaltransceivermodulesoractiveorpassiveDirectAttachCables(DACs).Whenusedinlegacy1 GbEmode,theportscanbepopulatedwithopticalorcoppertransceivermodules.
Orientation, Airflow, and RedundancyTheNE1032is1Uinheightandcanbemountedhorizontallyorvertically,dependingonyourapplication.Mountingoptionsareavailableforavarietyofracksystems.
Forsuperiorreliability,theNE1032usesredundant,hotswappowersupplymodulesandthreehotswapfanmodules.Moduleoptionsareavailableforeitherfronttorearairflow,orreartofrontairflow.

Toconnectacomputerorterminaltotheswitchusingtheincludedkit,firstconnecttheconsolecabletotheminiUSBportonthefrontpanel.ConnectoneendoftheCategory5patchcabletotheRJ45portontheconsolecable,andtheotherendofthepatchcabletotheRJ45toDB9adapter(seethefollowingillustration).
