1800 was the first year that tequila was aged in oak barrels using a process similar to wine making. 1800 Tequila was created to celebrate that milestone. 1800 Tequila is made from 100% blue agave and every drop is double-distilled and matured in French and American oak barrels for superior drinkability. 1800 Tequila is recognised for its iconic packaging and wonderful versatility.

... and the soul of the village. del maguey (pronounced ma–gay) Single Village mezcal was founded in 1995 by internationally renowned artist and mezcal visionary, Ron Cooper.

Through deep cultural relationships with Zapotec mexican indian producers in the remote villages of Oaxaca, mexico, del maguey harnesses ancient, original organic processes that combined with varying micro-climates and terroir give each creation its unique, rich, sweet and smoky character.

“Single Village mezcal” is, in essence, a methodology that gives village producers (palenqueros) the freedom to produce mezcal using ancient practices that the indigenous people of Oaxaca had been employing before the Spanish conquest.

The result is a distinct character and singular purity from village to village.

named after the sea beast of myth and legend, The kraken is distilled and aged for 2 years in Trinidad and Tobago and then blended with 13 secret spices. The rich black colour takes its hue from the mysterious ink with which, as legend has it, The kraken, a squid of epic proportions, covered its prey.

While the smooth taste of The kraken certainly lends itself to be enjoyed as an accessible sipping rum, it works best as a key ingredient in a number of rum-based drinks.
