Things are happening fast and furious here at Scriptures for America Ministry. On March 30th 2008 this preacher delivered a special Sunday morning sermon entitled “I Have a Dream”, which he concluded with a bit of a check-signing ceremony. He signed the biggest ministry check that he’d ever signed, and gave it to two World Wide Christian Radio shortwave (WWCR) representatives from Nashville, TN who attended church that day. The amount of this check was more than what our annual budget was not many years back. It was for the first month of broadcasting on WWCR’s transmitter #4, which we are now transmitting on 24 hours per day, seven days a week. (A study made in 2002 showed there were 2½ billon shortwave radios in use in the world, and at that time Radio Shack alone was selling one million per year in America). We started transmit-ting the next day, March 31, 2008. The frequencies are 9.980 from 6 am to 9pm Central time and 5.890 from 9 pm to 6 am Central time. We are also still transmitting our live weekly night broadcast (7 pm Mountain) on frequency 5.070. Then the next week we began our internet T.V. web casting, 24 hours/day, seven days a week at our new and improved website scripturesforamerica.org. Our goal and dream is to develop a Scriptures for America World Wide Broadcasting Network with a great variety of programs, including top of the hour news, a special health and prosperity program, a Coun-try Gospel Opry hour, an old time Wednesday night prayer meeting program, Acre of Diamonds broadcast-ing time using our trained men on the ministry, and much more.

make a sacrifice and come this year for the Thursday night May 22, 2008, Acres of Diamonds Alumni meal. There (and on Friday morning May 23) we plan on giving and discussing special ops Gideon assignments, including us-ing our people to develop this network. We just got our new book from the printer: The Terrible Tare-able Stories to Solve the Mystery of Law-lessness (offered in this issue, see inside front cover). We also just returned from the National Religious Broadcast-ing Convention in Nashville, TN. (Part of my staff flew. Richard drove the company truck out and was involved in a wreck. Fortunately no one was hurt, but $14,000 dam-ages were incurred to our truck. We only carry liability insurance, but hopefully the other parties insurance will pay, as it was their fault). We had a great meeting while we were there in Nashville. Many were healed in the prayer service and seven people were baptized for the re-mission of sins in the name of Jesus Christ. This preacher is preparing for an April trip to the huge, gigantic National Broadcasting Convention in Las Vegas. He will be taking his entire staff there to attend the NAB, as there is much audio and broadcasting technology presented there that we need to see. We are hoping to get better filming and lighting equipment for the Branson, MO meeting this May 23, 24, and 25, specifically for green screen filming of musicians. We have scheduled five days of recording studio time for this and already over two days are full and the other three will be as well. Our contact with musicians concerning our up and coming World-Wide Broadcasting Network is causing musicians to come to us. Our daily two minute Another Untold Story radio broadcasts are now on over 240 stations, all around the country, and thousands have come to our new and unique website www.anotheruntoldstory.com to get the ‘rest of…’ the untold stories, and hopefully, to read “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, posted there, and that of course is the

This preacher made a mistake in calculating the Passover day for 2008, but admitted the mistake and corrected it in his live radio-internet and satellite broadcast of 4-2-08 (7 pm Mountain time), which is archived at our website www.scriputresforamerica.org. We strongly suggest our readers listen to it and properly observe the proper day by the taking of Communion. Don’t take this lightly, as your salvation and the salvation of your family could well depend upon it. (Read on and you’ll understand what we mean and how and why the preacher made the mistake.) We do strongly sug-gest you listen to the April 16, 2008 Sunday sermon, archived at our new and improved website. The title of this article is The Day They Took Away. We all know there is a “they”. Just listen to “our” conversations as “we” talk about what “they” are going to do next. We not only know there is a “they” but that “they” are against us. Jesus told us they steal from us (John 10:10) and they did. They stole a day from us; a most important day of the year, and “they” replaced it with a day called Easter; a pa-gan holiday with its fertility goddess and Easter egg bunnies, etc... It took “them” three centuries to get it done, but they did. They have also, with the assis-tance of their father the devil, put in most Christian’s minds that it makes no difference anyway. It makes a big difference and it is a most important day, and if you don’t want these to be your last days in these end times, and you want to live on unscathed into the days of the new age, then you’d better get this day back; back into your life, and it’s not too late. This day is so important to observe our Lord has provided for a second chance to keep it (Numbers 9:10). That will

be on May 2, 2008. (We will hold a live church service from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm mountain time at the LaPorte Church of Christ, and on radio, satellite and internet. You can take Com-munion with us during that time.) That day is the Passover day. History shows it was ob-served by the early church for three full centuries until “they” got it eliminated at the council of Nicaea in 325 AD. It is a historical fact that Polycarp, who was the bishop at Ephesus (possibly the one of Revelation 2:1), who was a disciple of the Apostle John, traveled to Rome in 159 AD to confer with Bishop Anicetus, urg-ing the observance of the Passover day, the 14th day of the solar calendar. He stated that he received this teaching from the Apos-tle John. History further shows the first major church split came over this issue as the Christians in Asia Minor refused to go along with the Council of Ni-caea. They became known in history as the Quartodecimans (read part 2 of our book “Solar Sanity verses Lunar Lunacy in calculat-ing the Passover”. Read the chapter entitled The Importance of Keeping the Passover. This book is available for an $8.00 donation from SFA, PO Box 766, LaPorte, CO. 80535) Consider the following, taken from pages 42-47 of that book: The importance of the Passover is somewhat hidden in the prophets and in the Gospels, but it is there for those to search out. Isaiah tells us about the impending day of the Lord and what to do: 20Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their in-iquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. – Isaiah 26:20-21.

What does it mean to enter into thy cham-bers? Notice this instruction is in light of the com-ing punishing and avenging of God that is coming upon the land. Obviously, just going into one’s house is not going to protect in the day of destruc-tion and desolation that is prophesied to come in the day of the Lord. Such visitation of destruction hap-pened in Egypt on the Passover and those who kept the Passover and applied the blood of a sacrificed lamb to the “door” were protected from the devas-tation that came down on the rest of the inhabitants in the land. One reads about this event in Exodus, Chapter 12. In the new covenant, Jesus is the Pass-over Lamb and His blood is applied when one is born again of the water and the spirit, which is done through faith, repentance, and baptism for the re-mission of sins (Acts 2:38). But, how does one en-ter the chambers and close the door? By keeping the Passover day as the early Christians did before the serpent thieves stole it from them and cut down the entrance door. When one reads of the Passover event in Egypt, one notes the Scripture specifically says that the Lord passed over “the door”. Those that had applied the blood to the door had to also enter the door and close it behind them. 23For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you. 24And you shall ob-serve this event as an ordinance for you and your children forever. – Exodus 12:23-24. NAS (Emphasis added).

But, how

There was a reason so many Christians fought so long and so hard to keep the Passover day (five centuries and history indicates some in the British Isles fought with the sword to keep it). There was a reason the serpent enemies fought so long and so hard to eliminate it by replacing it with Easter. The enemy steals, kills, and destroys (John 10:10). Some will say, “Are you trying to say I’m not saved because I don’t keep the Passover or keep it on the right day?” The answer is, “no, not regarding the salvation you are talking about for we are saved by faith and the blood of Jesus.” But, there is another salvation yet to be revealed. It is the salvation in the day of the Lord that Isaiah speaks of and thus instructs us to enter the chambers and close the door. It is the end-time salvation that Peter tells us is yet to be re-vealed. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. – Peter 1:5 NAS. There is a salvation to be revealed and it will be in the day of the Lord. And, just as the serpent people tried to remove the knowledge of the resurrec-tion to keep people from the salvation that comes from it, they have removed the Passover to keep peo-ple from the salvation that comes with it when the day of the Lord comes. Let us consider the following Scripture that tells about the door: 1“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. 2But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. 3To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his



voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 4When he puts forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5And a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them. 7Jesus therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” –John 10:1-10 NAS. That thief tried to steal the knowledge of the resurrection of Jesus – the gospel, the good news of the death, burial, and resurrection which saves us. People are destroyed when it is kept from them – i.e., the thief doesn’t go through the door but enters an-other way. The Passover is also the door, which the thief does not want you to enter. No doubt some will be quick to point out that Jesus said, in John 10:7, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” Yes, Jesus is the door, but He is also our Passover. Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. I Corinthians 5:7.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” Yes, Jesus is the door, but He is also our Passover.



Things equal to the same thing are equal to each other. For example, 2 + 2 = 4 and 3 + 1 = 4; thus, 2 + 2 = 3 + 1. So it is Jesus Christ = door and Jesus Christ -= Passover; thus, door = Passover. Just as we receive salvation by believing the gospel (and obeying it in the act of baptism [Acts 2:38; II Thessalonians 1:8]), so we partake of that salvation yet to be revealed by faith when by faith we keep the Passover. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that he who destroyed the first-born might not touch them. – Hebrews 11:28 NAS. 32Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. – Mat-thew 24:32-33 NAS. (Emphasis added). Do not complain, brethren, against one another, that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. – James 5:9 NAS. In the story of the foolish virgins, the five foolish virgins were not saved. The five wise virgins were not only saved but had the oil of understanding and were able to partake of the wed-ding feast; thus, they were saved of going through the tribulation that comes with the day of the Lord. They kept the Passover – i.e., the door day. 1Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bride-groom. 2And five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and be-gan to sleep. 6But at midnight there was a shout, “Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.” 7Then all those virgins rose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said to the pru-

dent, “Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.” 9But the prudent answered, saying, “No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.” 10And while they were going away to make the pur-chase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11And later the other virgins also came, saying, “Lord, Lord, open up for us.” 12But he answered and said, “Truly I say to you, I do not know you.” 13Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour. – Matthew 25:1-13 NAS. Every year Christians have the opportunity to keep the Passover, which is an entering into a covering, if you will, for that year; should that be the year that contains the day of the Lord, they will enjoy that salvation yet to be revealed of which Peter speaks. The other Christians, like the five foolish virgins, miss out on it. 24Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, “Lord, open up to us!” then He will answer and say to you, “I do not know where you are from.” – Luke 13:24-25 NAS. It is the conviction of this preacher there are other benefits when the Passover is annually kept on the right day; one is health. The following comes from page 30, 31, and 32 of that same book, “Solar Sanity verses Lunar Lunacy in calculating the Passover”.

The snakes want to keep you from the truth and from the kingdom (Matthew 23:33; 23:13; Acts 13:10). Today they come in and pose as Christians and teach them and no one ever sus-pects them. Their instinctive job, among other



things, is to destroy (John 10:10). As we shall see from a passage in the Septuagint translation, they en-deavor to destroy the entrance to the door, which is in reference to the Passover; in my opinion, this is the most important (for now) feast to keep. That is, no doubt, why it was the first to be restored in the Christian Covenant and was kept by the early church; and, the first thing the snakes went after to destroy. A new covenant with His people was instituted through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:8 & 9:15). In the Mosaic Covenant, due to the sins of the house of Israel, they lost their kingdom (Hosea 1:4), and, in the process, their feasts (Hosea 2:11) (which by that time had al-ready been corrupted as were the feasts in Judah). Judah lost the proper feast times -Lamentations 2:6.

And He has violently treated His tabernacle like a garden booth; He has destroyed His appointed meeting place; the Lord has caused to be forgotten the appointed feast and Sabbath in Zion, and He has despised king and priest in the indignation of His an-ger. The Apostles, having sat under the teaching of Jesus for three years concerning the kingdom, knew that there was going to be a “restoraI” process. This truth is seen in the question they asked Jesus in Acts 1:6 after they had been taught intensely by Him for forty days (Acts 1:3). 6And so when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” 7He said to them, “it is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; - Acts 1:6-7. (Emphasis added).

A new covenant with His people was instituted through the death, burial, and resurrec-tion of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:8 & 9:15).

Note that there was to be a restoraI process. Note also, from the answer, that it wasn’t going to be all at once. Consider with this writer the situation cast off Israel was in at the time and the reasonableness and patience of God. The sheep were scat-tered and were among ruling powers – nation states that, like us, had calendars different from the ancient Hebrew solar calendar. The people, like us, had jobs that demanded their time. In fact, many were slaves at the time meaning they economically and so-cially could not take the time off whenever they so desired to travel to a designated spot to keep the feasts - as their ancient Is-raelite forefathers had done and could do because they had their own land, own calendar, and own kingdom. So, initially, the one-day event of Passover was restored in the New Covenant with more yet to be restored. Why the Passover? Because it is a most important day. It is a door and has appropriately been called “the door” day. The enemies of God’s people who do the desires of their father, the

devil (John 8:44), immediately went to work to destroy the entrance to this door by altering the time it was kept; thus, in the process, eliminating it all together, just as those same serpent people had done to ancient Israel of old. This may seem hard to believe but it is Biblical. The Bible teaches that changing time is part of the way of evil that comes against His people: “and he will intend to make alteration in time . . .”- Daniel 7:25.

Consider the following, which comes out of the ancient Septuagint Bible from the Psalms 74:4-8: 4They who hate Thee have indeed triumphed: in the midst of Thy festival they set up their own signs: 5The signs pointing to the entrance above they did not know. As if in a forest of trees, 6they cut down with axes the doors of that entrance. Then with hatchets and mattocks they broke it down. 7They burned Thy sanctuary to the ground with fire: they profaned the habitation of Thy name. 8They said, the

whole brood of them are in their heart set upon this: come, let us cause to cease from the land the festivals of the Lord. – Septua-gint translation. (Note: This text reads entirely different than the Masseratic text. Is it any wonder the snakes, who promoted King James only, vilified Westcott and Hort, who found and used the Septuagint?) Notice the text says they used their own signs. This is what is done when the moon rather than the sun is used for setting up the year and the festivals. Notice, from the text, that the ser-pent enemy wanted the true festivals to cease from the land and, most importantly, notice that they cut down the doors of the en-trance. This is done by getting the people to follow the lunar cal-endar and was done to Israel of old in the old covenant. They im-mediately went to work to do the same in the new covenant by eliminating the door day, known as Passover, changing it to Easter. First they changed the day to a pagan day called Easter and now Christians’ minds have been changed so as to believe such a day is not important and matters not. It took nearly five hundred years for them to completely remove Passover and re-place it with Easter. (end of quotes from the book Solar Sanity...)

This preacher made the mistake in calculations because 2008 was a leap year, which has one extra day in it. This threw him off and he was a day off. He admitted his mistake.

It could very well be one of the biggest mistakes you’ll ever make if you fail to take seriously the keeping of the Pass-over. You have a chance to do it, from noon on May 2 to noon on May 3, 2008 (adjust for daylight savings time). Our Nashville gathering was a great prelude to our up-coming Big Branson Bash! In Nashville there was a recharging of spiritual batteries for all who attended, wonderful healings dur-ing prayers over the sick (James 5:14), seven blessed Baptisms, good music from Steve Spalding, and a blessed time of fellow-ship for all! At the NRBA, we held several much-needed SFA Net-work developmental meetings, we met with WWCR representa-tives (working out the 24/7 deal on Transmitter 4), and we also made other very valuable Network contacts. We even went to the WWCR radio station and anointed Transmitter 4. It was a (financially) costly trip, but well worth it, both from a spiritual and business viewpoint. We thank those of you who attended and also those of you who, through your prayers

and financial support, al-lowed us to attend as well.

First, I would thank all you who wrote in compli-menting the new website. As a Webmaster, it very is encour-aging to receive such a positive response from those who will be using the site the most. To those of you that helped me correct the few mistakes, thank you too. Also, I appreciate the patience all of you afforded me in getting the features you like most on the old site on the new one.

Second, I would like to take a moment to thank the staff here at Scriptures for America. They have welcomed me from the beginning, and provided a lot of support in assisting me with the development of this new site and the Another Untold Story site. We have accomplished so much in the past few months and I am honored and grateful to be part of such an amazing team. We have so much work to do here, but I am confident that with the team we have all the work will be completed in 5-star fashion.

I would like to share the success that is Another Un-told Story. The two-minute broadcasts began airing on March

3rd. Since then we have received liter-ally thousands of visitors from over 23 different countries and moved over 16 Gigabytes of bandwidth (that’s a lot)!

Also, since the program first aired it has been expanded to almost three times the number of markets reached. On top of that, visitors are listening to the Greatest Story Ever Told and that is main purpose of drawing them there. So that they can hear the Gospel, since many in our day haven’t heard it be-cause they haven’t been told. Another notable success worth mentioning is that there have been hundreds of downloads of the Song of the Week, which features the unique praise music that Pastor Peters has been creating. This month we will make some additions to the site itself that will make it even more impactful.

I am sure that many of you are wondering what sto-ries have brought the largest response. Well, considering the

world we live in, it probably wouldn’t surprise any of you that the story of the “Adulterous Ranch Wife” is at the top of the list. Not far behind is “Victoria’s Secret(s),” followed by the “Congressional Medal of Honor Winner.”

Finally, I would like to provide an update concerning the Online Resource Center, the catalog on our website. It is in the process of being built. It takes time. And since this ministry offers over 2,000 resources, it will take a little more time. I have set a personal goal of finishing this cart and mak-ing it available by Branson, so pray for me! We are still plan-ning the Day of the Lord blog to document Day of the Lord events.

As of April 1st, we are stream-ing video 24 hours day, seven days a week at the new SFA-TV Channel at our website. This channel will play a mixture of Church Ser-vices, Camp Meetings, Sunday School Classes and more. And this is just the beginning! We feel this outreach effort will have a tremendous impact on our Internet presence and, in return, provide us with the medium to allow needed truths to be presented with visual reinforcement. There is so much that can be done with this avenue that the possibilities are endless. We ask that you spread the word about this new out-reach effort to everyone you know. Tell them, "Turn away from that old TV and turn to the new SFATV."

Oh yeah, there is one new function I almost forgot to report on…the sample newsletter request. We are receiving daily requests for the Dragon Slayer Newsletter Magazine. It is now much easier for someone to request a sample newslet-ter. (even got one from Germany!!)

The bell rings and open the gates swing, Horse power explodes forth With a thunderous sound,

Horses hooves are pounding the ground.

“They are off and running” the announcer says The crowd stands, cheers and peers

With neck stretched heads A fair race? They say it is not!

For the best jockey has strangely picked A shaggy horse called “Long-shot”

The other steeds look stout and are sheen

And are ridden by jockeys Who are hard and mean

Cunningly and cruelly their whips swing Hitting the good jockey in the face

Conspiratorially crowding him To the rail and last place Kill the jockey, maim his horse

Do whatever it takes To keep old Long-shot and his rider from finishing the race

The announcer cries “Look at those long-legged ponies run,

and look there in the back at old Long-shot eating their dust, that can’t be fun”

Why did the best jockey pick him, he can’t run The crowd sees he can’t stay up with the big studs

Eating their dust he seems small and scrawny And looks like a dud

His rider knows he don’t look like much

But years of hard riding have made him tough And he knows the tough keep running when the big studs have had enough

The jockey knows it’s not who’s first at first

His pony will be ready for the final blast He and his horse know the first shall be last

The big high-rollers cheer, the small Long-shot betters groan

Seeing old Long-shot and rider in back and all alone But there, the wise jockey knows his horse is safe His horse has been trained for endurance and faith

The big boys are all bunched up and won’t let him in As they all come around the tracks final bend

Then, winded, some slow, some slip, some veer But old Long-shot’s got a second wind And begins to move up from the rear

As the patient jockey urges Long-shot up from the rear,

The horse knows the time has come to do his part They saw him as nothing

91st Days for 2008


The Spring Equinox, March 20 noon is solar day “ONE” of the 2008 solar year. This is known as the first day of Abib. Tuesday, April 2 at noon would be the 14th day of Abib, which is Passover. It is a day to partake of Communion, and was kept by the first century church instead of Easter. (It does not have to be taken as a Sabbath day.) This day, the “door day”, is so important, the Bible allows for a ‘make-up’ day 30 days later if the above day is missed. (see Numbers 9:10). We will be participating in that “make-up” day on May 2, 2008 at the LaPorte Church of Christ. Join us, won’t you? May 2, 7:00pm Mtn. time, on satellite, radio or at our website.
