Prime Rib Saturday was a wonderful experience. It hasbeen a long time since I tasted Prime Rib that tender andthat tasty. Thank you to the cook and the restaurant staffwho made this special dinner possible. Vince and Timwere quite impressed as were Iva and Linda and manyothers that I spoke with.
Mothers’ Day Buffet and Brunch also was a huge suc-cess. The lodge presented flowers to the first 50 Momsthrough the door. Thank you to all who brought theirMom or a guest to our lodge for the special day.
Remember if you have a friend or friends who are notElk members, invite them out for Happy Hour, a round ofgolf or for a bite to eat. Maybe you could add a tour of thelodge and offer an application.
If you see some new faces at our Lodge, say ‘Hi’ andintroduce yourself. Make everyone feel welcome.
Speaking of golf, don’t forget the Friday Scramble. Wehave five new golfers who joined us in recent weeks. It’sa great way to meet other Elks, play some golf and havesome fun. Don’t worry about your skill level. Some play-ers are low handicappers, most of us are mid-to-highhandicappers so come on out and join us. Each team has
an A,B,C and D player or a combi-nation so everyone can contribute.Check with the Pro Shop forcheck-in time.
