Management of fibre-optic hydrophone design and production at a world-leading manufacturer of ultrasound technology.

Experience gained in developing novel thin-film coatings, including the associated simulation software and instrumentation.

Practical experience in thin-film metal sputtering and physical vapourdeposition techniques.

Development of in-house procedures, production processes and documentation, including clean-room operations, to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Management of a TSB-funded research project for development of new optical hydrophone technology, in collaboration with Helia Photonics, Scotland.
