REMEMBERYou can remove the password at any time to allow your site to be LIVE

● Click >> Online Store >> Remove Password● It will bring you to a Preferences section.● All you do simply is UNTICK the box that says Enable password page, then

click Save

Theme Setup1. Go to ONLINE STORE >> THEMES >> (Locate) Venture2. Click ADD THEME3. Then scroll down the screen until you see the VENTURE Theme, Click4. ACTIONS, the PUBLISH - Now we can start to customize it.5. Inside Venture you will see 2 tabs

We first start with SECTIONS1. First we want to click Header 2. Upload your Logo - I like to Leave the

Custom logo width (in pixels) at 753. Then we change the MENU by clicking

Changea. But first we must set up the menu’s (which we

will come back to)

4. Then change the ANNOUNCEMENT BAR to - FREE SHIPPING

SlideshowThese will be your places to sell your shop - Let's start with 3 for the time being - there are 3 template examples included - just follow them

Slideshow - CanvaUse Canva to make them into the correct size

1. Inside Canva.com Click USE CUSTOM DIMENSIONS in the top Right 2. Width 1800, Height 1000, PX, then click Design3. Upload your chosen images, fit them into the custom design size4. And then download in JPG format.

HOMEPAGE CollectionAfter that we have the HOMEPAGE Collection section,

I like to have just one row, chosen from a selection of really high selling items - then I make a collection of Best Sellers and have them there

IMAGE WITH TEXT EXAMPLEThen we have the IMAGE WITH TEXT EXAMPLE - I like to use this to show off a blog post about my best selling items, focusing on one particular type, like Makeup Brushes, as you can see in the example image

● I add a striking image● A great strong Benefit driven headline (main keywords included)● A great description with a link to the blog article linked to my main keywords

Footer Menu SetupGo to Online Store >> Navigation >> Footer MenuThen Click Add Menu Item and start adding all the pages mentioned - there is a drop down section, so to make it easier just use the add pages function

● About Us● Contact Us● Privacy Policy● Refund Policy ● Shipping & Delivery● Terms of service

Once they have all been setup just simply click SAVE

Menu NavigationNext we will add out Main Menu Navigation >> Main Menu

1. For to start we will add our 3 collections we have so far (I want you to get used to how to add menu items so you can do it with ease)

2. Select the Collections drop down and choose one at a time the collections you want on the front navigation menu

3. You can change the names of the collections if they are too long, add tags to them, but for now, you just click SAVE and you have a fully working new Navigation Menu

Next We Move Onto Theme SettingsNext go back into Themes >> Customize >> Theme Settings This is where you can change the theme settings like:

● Colours● Typography● Collection Pages● Social Media● Favicon● Checkout

Theme Settings1. COLOURS - I like all the Colours that are present in Venture so I don't mess

around with them, except that I ensure my background is WHITE

2. TYPOGRAPHY - The same with Typography, if you have a favourite please use that type, if not, just leave it alone.

3. COLLECTIONS - I like to Show frame around images but Not Show product vendor

Theme Settings1. Social Media - Add the image of your store logo, so that it is seen when your

products are shared on social media

2. Then just add all the social channels that you have setupa. Facebookb. Instagramc. Youtube

3. Once all that you own have been added click SAVE

Favicon1. Next go to Favicon and add your

Logo, or even one that you made yourself using Canva.com

- it will scale down the Favicon to 32px X32px

CheckoutNext we move onto Checkout

1. For the Background Image I leave blank2. I do add my LOGO, but the rest I just leave as it is (as I suggest you do) and

click SAVE

And that is your theme completely setup, easy. Should only take 15-20

minutes.
