Sue YoungMy name is Sue Young and I am a realtor with Realty South. I was born and raised in Florence,AL and I love the small-town feel, while enjoying the positive growth of The Shoals. Our localcommunities offer water recreation, hiking trails, museums, shops owned by local neighbors anda rich musical history that is known throughout the world now.
I currently live in Madison, AL as it is between my work in The Shoals and my husband’s jobin Huntsville. One of the advantages is that my real estate business has grown, and I can nowserve all the Northwest Alabama area. It is essential that a REALTOR know the market, availableinventory and be familiar with all aspects of the area they are serving.
My time, when not working, is spent doing volunteer work. Many of these opportunities havebecome available through my membership in the Shoals Area Association of Realtors. Over theyears, we have worked with Relay for Life, Angel Tree, Give a Kid a Chance, Food Drives, AmericanRed Cross, Shoals-Save-a Life, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Blood Drives and much more. We believeeach of us can find ways to give back to our community and plans are underway for a great 2021!
I have many professional designations including, ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), GRI(Graduate of Realtor Institute), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist, ASP (Accredited StagingProfessional), Broker Associate, C2EX Endorsement (Committed to Excellence from NationalAssociation of Realtors) and most recently completed coursework for the At Home with DiversityCertification. It is my belief that it is necessary to continue to learn and grow to better serve myclients.
