Which uses the most power in a typical working day?Assuming that the kettle is used by our very busy maintenance department (3 times a day!) and that the light bulbis on 24 hours in an emergency escape route in the basement.

2 x 750kw boilers on 24hrs a day plus associated pumps and fans! Simple 10 minute adjustments to BEMS reduced running time to 8hrs a day on demand only. Further enhancements came later.

in summer!Any domestic boiler system would have been better but we

used 2 very efficient Zenex Technology boilers, total cost £20k, Payback1.5 years!
