Do you know what the zoo is? Uhmm.. Azoo (short for zoological
park or zoological garden , and also calleda menagerie ) is a
facility in which animals are confined within enclosures, displayed
to the public. any zoos arecenters of functional conser!ation of
rare animals are in dan"er of e#tinction.
Advantages:$ %he zoo a safe place (that) endan"ered animals can
ha!e a chance to sur!i!e and de!elop without fear of anythreat from
outside. &n the zoo, animals were pro!ided food each day. %hey
no lon"er ha!e to worry about ha!in"to find food or water if the
weather and climate fluctuations as they li!e in the wild. 'e also
care routine by theanimal protection or"anization. oreo!er, animals
also a!oid ille"al huntin" and e#cessi!e in the wild.
%herefore,
animals in zoos are safer than those in the wild.$ eople can see
the animals firsthand without ha!in" to spend much time and effort
into the forest to search.$ oo is also an ideal place to !isit and
e#perience the feelin" of seein" wildlife in short distance.we will
ha!e more knowled"e of animals like their beha!ior, en!ironment ...
in addition, people*s awareness of theimportance of conser!ation
needs of endan"ered animals.
&n short, the zoos want to "i!e the animals a natural life,
so they ha!e a healthy and normal life in the wild aswell as to the
!isitors can see animals like as in the natural en!ironment rather
than in a zoo.
Disadvantages:%he zoo is not +ust for purpose of entertainment,
but also for the education, research, and conser!ation and
animalprotection. owe!er, in the past and present, there are many
zoos are considered -prison- $ a place ofconfinement for the bad
capti!ity.althou"h the zoo has brou"ht many benefits to the
animals, it s also a lot of disad!anta"es such as/$ many zoos do
not meet the re0uirements of appropriate habitat for the animals
leads to habitat chan"es affectlife as well as their beha!ior $
