How Is the Work Organized?More than eight million Witnesses of Jehovah inover 230 lands are carrying out the commissionthat Jesus gave his followers—to preach the goodnews of God’s Kingdom. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20)To organize this work, there are about 90 branchoffices worldwide, all serving under the direction ofthe Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The Governing Body is made up of spirit-anointedmen who live and work here at Warwick. They havethe responsibility to prepare spiritual food and togive direction regarding the worldwide preachingand disciple-making work. The individual membersof the Governing Body serve on committees, whichmeet at various times during the week. In addition,the entire Governing Body meets each week, usuallyon Wednesday, to discuss the needs of the world-wide field.

The Visitors’ CenterWe warmly invite you to tour our Visitors’ Centeras well as selected sections of the Offices/ServicesBuilding and the Warwick grounds. The followingself-guided tours are open to the public free ofcharge. Allow approximately one hour for eachof the tours.
The Bible and the Divine Namefeatures rare Bible transla-tions and highlights how God’sname has been preservedin the Scriptures despiteopposers’ efforts to remove it.The exhibit also includes agallery that features additionalrare Bibles and Bible-relatedartifacts.
A People for Jehovah’s Nameprovides a visual historyof Jehovah’s Witnesses. Itincludes artifacts, graphics,and first-person accountsthat show how Jehovah hasprogressively guided, taught,and organized his people todo his will.
World Headquarters—Faithin Action is an interactivemuseum. It explains the workof the Governing Bodycommittees and how they helpJehovah’s people follow theScriptural direction to meettogether, make disciples, takein spiritual food, and showlove to one another.

There are six committees of the Governing Body.In caring for Kingdom interests, each committeehas a specific area of oversight. It is throughthese six committees that Jehovah’s peoplereceive spiritual shepherding.
Writing CommitteeThis committee is responsible for preparingspiritual food in the form of publications; givingdirection on doctrinal matters, Bible translation,and translation of our publications; approvingelectronic tools for study; maintaining historicalarchives; and overseeing jw.org.
