Ӿ THE WARLOCK Ӿ
Intro
----------------------
The Warlock class is inspired by my love for the Mythology of Burning Hells in Diablo 3 and
my love for the Warlock class in World of Warcraft. When I first came with the ideas for this class, the
skill trees were still a part of the game design. In this I imagined them to be dedicated to 3 “schools”
of demonic magic, each drawing power from one of the realms of Prime Evils: Mephisto, Baal and
Diablo. They would be called Hatred, Destruction and Terror.
The Warlock protagonist would master the power of demons to fight them with their own
weapons. His/hers arsenal would include demonic minions, devastating demonic spells and
ultimately 3 spells that would allow the Warlock to temporarily transform into a demon him/herself.
At that point in brainstorming, each of the demonic transformation spells was assigned as the
pinnacle, the last skill in its skill tree. Each skill tree also contained its own type of demons to
summon and its own destructive and buffing/de-buffing spells following the flavor of the Prime Evils.
Since then a lot of time has passed and Blizzard’s development of the game did away with
the Skill Tree system embracing a Skill Pool approach. This change inspired me to freshen-up my own
design of the class.
Personality and Appearance

He is young, in his 20s, power hungry and arrogant but with a contemplative disposition. His
talent for the arts of arcane compliments his insatiable appetite for forbidden knowledge. In physical
appearance he is moderately tall, slender yet with a well developed physique. He exudes a sexual
charisma of a detached character who is none the less brimming with power. His complexion is paler
than usual. His hair and facial appearance wouldn’t be out of place in a punk-rock band. Basically
bald with a short irokez down the middle of the scalp. A scar slashing an eye and check completes the
dangerous look. To him all other people are expendable if it advances him on his unholy path of
development. Yet there are hints and glimpses of warmth in relation to others but it is a paradox, a
mystery even to him. Mostly what holds him from becoming prey to dark forces is his extraordinary
will and talent for magic.
Resource – Demonic Power
----------------------
Warlock’s resource is Demonic Power. Demonic Power pool is set at 100 by default. Demonic
Power replenishes at a rate of 10 per second by default. Both amounts can be further increased by
items and skills. Warlock can also siphon Demonic Power from demons and monsters with spells.
Spells
----------------------
The flavor of Warlock spells is made of such things:
conjuring hellfire, dark lightning, various elemental devastations and infernal metallic
contraptions;
manipulating shadow and blood magic;
afflicting enemies with debilitating effects and plagues;
manipulating spirits and the spectral realm;
fearing and mind controlling enemies;
siphoning life and power;
spawning and summoning demonic minions;
and ultimately transforming into a being of pure demonic might.

Primary skills
Void Lightning, 3 Demonic Power – Unleash dark lightning upon 3 enemies, up to 50 yards away for
200% weapon damage as Lightning per hit.
(5) Alabaster: Monstrous Discharge – Void Lightning deals 400% weapon damage as
Lightning to one enemy and has a 20% chance to stun the enemy for 1.5 seconds.
(1) Crimson: Hand of Terror – Void Lightning strikes up to 5 enemies for 200%
weapon damage as Lightning.
(3) Golden: Leeching Tendrils – Void Lightning steals 1 Demonic Power per enemy hit
instead of costing Demonic Power.
(2) Indigo: Lightning Nova – Unleash a wave of dark lightning around you which deals
200% weapon damage as Lightning to all enemies within 18 yards. This range is
extended by a half of your gold and health globe pickup radius.
(4) Obsidian: Void Thunder – Channel demonic thunder which strikes enemies within
8 yards of target location, up to 60 yards away for 400% weapon damage as
Lightning. Void Thunder has a 10% chance to stun enemies for 1.5 seconds and costs
15 Demonic Power.
Infernal Blade, 3 Demonic Power – Transmogrify your weapon into a demonic mastix and maim
enemies in front of you, up to 15 yards away for 266% weapon damage.
(4) Alabaster: Withering Strike – Infernal Blade applies a condition onto enemies
which decreases their damage by 10% for 5 second. This effect can stack 3 times.
(2) Crimson: Molten Fury – Your attack speed is increased by 20% for 3 seconds after
attacking with Infernal Blade. In addition Infernal Blade immolates enemies for
additional 66% weapon damage as Fire over 2 seconds.
(3) Golden: Hungering Mastix – Infernal Blade steals 1 Demonic Power per enemy hit
instead of costing Demonic Power.
(1) Indigo: Crackling Blade – Infernal Blade releases bolts of void lightning, each
striking up to 3 enemies for 66% weapon damage as Lightning.
(5) Obsidian: Death’s Sickle – Infernal Blade deals additional 66% weapon damage as
Shadow and raises slain enemies to fight for you for 5 seconds.
Incinerate, 5 Demonic Power – Channel a beam of fiery destruction which incinerates enemies in its
path, up to 50 yards away for 200% weapon damage as Fire.
(1) Alabaster: Cauterizing Heat – While casting Incinerate you regenerate 2% of total
Life each second and your Life per second regeneration is increased by 25%.
(2) Crimson: Immolate – Enemies are set on fire and suffer additional 80% weapon
damage as Fire over 2 seconds.
(3) Golden: Ruin – Incinerate costs no Demonic Power.
(4) Indigo: Incineration Nexus – Incinerate strikes the first enemy for 266% weapon
damage as Fire, while 3 serpentine flames creep outward from the enemy, dealing
200% weapon damage as Fire.
(5) Obsidian: Eradicate – Channel a more powerful spell which concentrates its might
on one target, dealing 533% weapon damage as Fire, then increasing over 3 seconds
to 1066% weapon damage as Fire. Eradicate costs 20 Demonic Power.
Shadow Star, 5 Demonic Power – Cast an volatile orb of shadow energy at your enemies which
travels up to 80 yards away and explodes on impact for 266% weapon damage as Shadow to primary
target and 133% weapon damage as Shadow to other enemies within 10 yards.
(2) Alabaster: Blood Star – Shadow Star heals you for additional *value* Life per hit.
The spell’s Life per hit coefficient is increased.
(3) Crimson: Doom Star – Cast a deadlier version of the spell which deals 533%
weapon damage as Shadow to primary target and 266% weapon damage as Shadow
to other enemies within 10 yards. Doom Star costs 15 Demonic Power.
(1) Golden: Dread Star – The spell has a 20% chance to fear the enemy for 3 seconds.
(4) Indigo: Spectral Star – Shadow Star passes thru enemies and obstacles seeking its
target.
(5) Obsidian: Abyss Star – Open a dimensional gateway to the abyss above target
location which drains the spirit of enemies within 30 yards. Enemies drained of spirit
have their movement and attack speed decreased by 10% for 3 seconds per stack of
the affliction. After 10 seconds the star explodes, dealing 33% weapon damage as
Shadow per number of spirit threads devoured to all enemies within 30 yards. Abyss
Star costs 15 Demonic Power and has a 10 seconds cooldown.
Secondary skills
Shadow Hounds, 20 Demonic Power – Conjure 3 nightmarish hounds which assault your enemies for
6 seconds, dealing 33% weapon damage as Shadow per hit and exploding upon death for 133%
weapon damage as Shadow within 8 yards.
(2) Alabaster: Siphon Life – Each attack from shadow hounds heals you for *value*
Life. This amount is increased by your bonus to health globe healing.
(3) Crimson: Shadow Chargers – Conjure 3 hounds that charge in a straight line and
explode on impact, dealing 333% weapon damage as Shadow to enemies within 10
yards.
(1) Golden: Terror Beasts – The hounds have a 25% chance on hit to fear the enemy
for 3 seconds.
(5) Indigo: Dark Archon – Conjure a powerful, nightmarish being which assaults
enemies for 6 seconds, dealing 266% weapon damage as Shadow per hit.
(4) Obsidian: Abyss Tentacles – Open a portal to the abyss on target 15 yards radius
location where demonic tentacles engulf all enemies, immobilize them and deal
800% weapon damage as Shadow over 3 seconds. Abyss Tentacles has a 12 seconds
cooldown.
Hellfire, 30 Demonic Power – Channel a stream of hellfire, which burns enemies up to 36 yards in
front of you for 533% weapon damage as Fire.
(5) Alabaster: Infernal Turret – Conjure a demonic turret on target location that fires
balls of hellfire on enemies up to 50 yards away for 15 seconds. Fireballs deal 200%
weapon damage as Fire to enemies within 10 yards. You may have only one turret
conjured at a time. Infernal Turret costs 20 Demonic Power.
(2) Crimson: Inferno – Engulf a 24 yard radius area with hellfire, which burns enemies
for 1333% weapon damage as Fire over 8 seconds. Damage from multiple of your
Inferno spells does not stack.
(1) Golden: Pyromancy – Hellfire cost is reduced to 20 Demonic Power.
(3) Indigo: Rain of Hellfire – Summon a rain of hellfire at target 18 yards radius
location to burn enemies for 533% weapon damage as Fire over 4 seconds. Damage
from multiple of your Rain of Fire spells stacks.
(4) Obsidian: Hellfire Meteor – Summon a meteor from hell to strike target location,
12 yards in radius and deal 1333% weapon damage as Fire upon impact, stunning
enemies for 1.5 seconds and setting the ground on hellfire for additional 666%
weapon damage as Fire over 5 seconds. Hellfire Meteor has a 10 seconds cooldown.
Vengeful Spirit, 15 Demonic Power – Summon a spirit of hatred to possess an enemy up to 50 yards
away, and deal 1600% weapon damage as Shadow over 8 seconds. Possessed enemy is driven mad
by anguish and can lash out at other nearby enemies in confusion for 3 seconds. Damage from
multiple of your Vengeful Spirit spells does not stack.
(1) Alabaster: Vampiric Spirit – Each time the spirit deals damage you are healed for
additional *value* Life. The spell’s life per hit coefficient is increased.
(3) Crimson: Soul Extermination – The spell can stack 3 times but deals 800% weapon
damage as Shadow over 4 seconds. Possessing an enemy with 3 stacks of Vengeful
Spirit extends the duration by 4 seconds, up to maximum 8 seconds.
(5) Golden: Spirit Lord – For each possessed enemy, your Demonic Power generation
is increased by 20%.
(4) Indigo: Soul Storm – Summon a storm of vengeful spirits, having them circle
around you and deal 1066% weapon damage as Shadow over 4 seconds to all
enemies within 15 yards.
(2) Obsidian: Spirit Barrage – Channel a torrent of spirits, which strike target location
up to 60 yards away and deal 533% weapon damage as Shadow to all enemies within
8 yards. Spirit Barrage costs 20 Demonic Power.
Hellstorm, 30 Demonic Power – Unleash a tornado crackling with infernal lightning, 12 yards in
radius which advances forward while dealing 1200% weapon damage as Lightning over 6 seconds
and reducing enemy movement speed by 40%.
(4) Alabaster: Gruesome Winds – Hellstorm reduces enemy movement speed by 60%
instead.
(1) Crimson: Lightning Overload – Hellstorm damage is increased to 1600% weapon
damage as Lightning over 6 seconds.
(3) Golden: Destruction Pact – Envelop your spawned demon in a tornado of infernal
lightning and wind which deals 1200% weapon damage as Lightning over 6 seconds
to all enemies within 12 yards, reducing their movement speed by 40% as well.
(2) Indigo: Hell Hurricane – Channel a hurricane of infernal lightning and wind which
surrounds you and grows stronger with time. Hell Hurricane deals 500% weapon
damage as Lightning to all enemies within 15 yards, increasing gradually to 800%
weapon damage as Lightning to all enemies within 24 yards if channeled for 3
seconds. Hell Hurricane reduces enemy movement speed by 40%.
(5) Obsidian: Void Storm – Unleash a tornado of void and lightning, 12 yards in radius
which advances forward for 4 seconds and sucks all enemies in its path into the void
at its center. Void Storm deals 400% weapon damage as Lightning per second to
enemies, even those inside the void which are spat out when the storm subsides.
Void Storm has a 15 seconds cooldown.
Doom Plague, 30 Demonic Power – Unleash a wicked plague upon enemies in front of you, up to 20
yards away that spreads to other enemies in the vicinity, dealing 800% weapon damage as Poison
over 10 seconds. Infected enemies take 30% less Life from healing. Damage from multiple of your
Doom Plague spells does not stack.
(1) Alabaster: Decrepit Malady – Infected enemies deal 15% less damage.
(2) Crimson: Scourge – Unleash a more powerful strain of plague which deals 2000%
weapon damage as Poison over 10 seconds, but doesn’t spread to enemies in the
vicinity anymore.
(4) Golden: Demonic Gestation – Infected enemies spawn 2 demonic maggots upon
death, which live for 10 seconds and inflict 33% of your weapon damage as Poison
per hit.
(3) Indigo: Pestilent Comet – Summon a disease ridden comet to strike target
location, 12 yards in radius and deal 400% weapon damage as Poison, leaving behind
a disease cloud which deals 400% weapon damage as Poison over 5 seconds.
Enemies under the disease cloud take 30% less Life from healing. Damage from
multiple of your disease clouds does not stack.
(5) Obsidian: Entropy Elemental – Conjure a humongous elemental of plague that
rampages thru enemies and deals 2666% weapon damage as Poison over 10 seconds.
Only one elemental can be conjured at a time. While taking damage from the
elemental, enemies take 30% less Life from healing.
Defensive skills
Malefic Shroud, 20 Demonic Power – Conjure a shroud made of enslaved, malevolent spirits which
absorbs 20% of incoming damage and lasts 5 minutes.
(1) Alabaster: Blood Shroud – While Malefic Shroud is cast, you regenerate 2% of
maximum Life each second.
(2) Crimson: Vengeance Shroud – When hit while Malefic Shroud is cast, the damage
of your next attack is increased by 30%. This effect lasts 5 seconds and stacks to
include up to next 3 attacks.
(4) Golden: Demon Shroud – Casting the spell conjures dark shrouds for your demons
as well. These shrouds last for 5 minutes and absorb 20% damage.
(3) Indigo: Sinful Shroud – For 3 seconds after casting Malefic Shroud, damage
absorption is increased to 40%.
(5) Obsidian: Void Shroud – When cast, the spell drains Demonic Power to protect
you from harm. Malefic Shroud uses 1 Demonic Power to prevent 1% of your
maximum Life in damage. Void Shroud lasts indefinitely, has no cooldown and you
can remove the shroud by casting the spell again.
Terrorize, 5 Demonic Power, 15 seconds cooldown – Radiate terror, fearing all enemies within 18
yards for 5 seconds.
(5) Alabaster: Phobomancy – Instead of radiating terror, empower your attacks with
additional 15% chance to fear the enemy for 3 seconds. This boon lasts for 5 minutes.
(1) Crimson: Atrocity – All attacks have additional 20% critical strike chance on feared
enemies.
(2) Golden: Thrive on Terror – For each feared enemy, your Demonic Power
regeneration is increased by 1 for 5 seconds.
(3) Indigo: Terror Bomb – You can cast Terrorize on target location, fearing all
enemies within 12 yards.
(4) Obsidian: Grim Effigy – Instead of radiating terror, conjure a horrifying effigy at
target location which persists for 6 seconds. The effigy fears any enemy that
approaches within 12 yards for 3 seconds.
Infernal Contraption, 5 Demonic Power, 8 seconds cooldown – Conjure a trap of hellish saws near
your location, which springs when an enemy passes over. The trap maims enemies for 400% weapon
damage over 2 seconds and reduces movement speed by 60% for 4 seconds. The trap persists for 8
seconds if not sprung by an enemy, at which time it activates by itself.
(1) Alabaster: Butchery – Enemies damaged by the trap have increased chance to
drop health globes for 4 seconds.
(4) Crimson: Scorching Metal – The trap deals additional 213% weapon damage as
Fire over 2 seconds. Damaged enemies have their armor reduced by 35% for 3
seconds.
(5) Golden: Infernal Sphere – The trap ejects a metallic sphere which projects a 15
yard long ray of incineration while spinning 3 times around its axis. The ray deals
266% weapon damage as Fire.
(2) Indigo: Deep Wounds – The trap reduces movement speed by 80% for 4 seconds.
(3) Obsidian: Razor Aegis – Conjure an aegis of hellish saws which lasts for 5 minutes
and deals 266% weapon damage every second to enemies within 8 yards. While
Razor Aegis is cast you gain a 100% increase to your Thorns stat.
Spectral Wall, 5 Demonic Power, 12 seconds cooldown – Conjure a ghastly wall for 6 seconds which
blocks enemy movement and attacks but imposes no restrictions to you or your party.
(3) Alabaster: Eidolic Vigor – Party members can pass thru the wall to increase
movement speed by 30% for 6 seconds.
(1) Crimson: Torment Reflection – Enemies standing next to Spectral Wall take 133%
weapon damage as Shadow per second.
(5) Golden: Phantom Wall – Spectral Wall lasts for 4 seconds and the cooldown is
reduced to 8 seconds.
(2) Indigo: Spectral Prison – The wall takes the shape of a circle to imprison enemies
within for 5 seconds.
(4) Obsidian: Spectral Bulwark – Conjure a spectral bulwark around you which
prevents all damage and control impairing effects for 2 seconds. The spell’s cooldown
is reduced to 10 seconds.
Witchcraft skills
Blood Sacrifice, 5% maximum Life – Sacrifice your life force to heal your demons for 10% of their
total Life and to gain a 15% damage increase for 60 seconds.
(2) Alabaster: Vampirism – The ritual grants party members additional *value* Life
per hit and increases life per second regeneration by 20%.
(4) Crimson: Crimson Fury – The ritual increases the attack speed of your party by
15%.
(3) Golden: Blood Power –The ritual increases resource generation of your party by
20%.
(1) Indigo: Sanguine Vigor – The ritual increases the movement speed of your party
by 15%.
(5) Obsidian: Diabolical Awareness – The ritual decreases duration of debuffs and
crowd control effects on party members by 20%.
Soul Reap, 5 Demonic Power, 15 seconds cooldown – Drain the spirit of up to 5 enemies within 24
yards, inflicting damage equal to 10% of their total Life (3% for Elite enemies) and healing yourself for
10% of your total Life per enemy.
(2) Alabaster: Anguish – Soul Reap stuns enemies for 3 seconds.
(1) Crimson: Enfeeble – Soul Reap reduces enemies’ damage by 20% for 15 seconds.
(3) Golden: Empower – Your Demonic Power regeneration is increased by 10% per
enemy for 15 seconds.
(4) Indigo: Soul Harvest – Soul Reap drains the spirit of up to 10 enemies.
(5) Obsidian: Reaper’s Mark – Mark a single enemy for 15 seconds. Whenever you
deal damage to other enemies, 50% of that damage is suffered by marked enemy as
well.
Shadow Realm, 5 Demonic Power, 15 seconds cooldown – You and your demons enter shadow
realm for 3 seconds. While in shadow realm you are invisible to enemies, cannot be harmed, can pass
thru obstacles and have 50% increased movement speed. However you cannot attack enemies or
pick up items.
(3) Alabaster: Feast of Shadows – While in shadow realm you and your demon are
healed for 20% of total Life each second and you gain 15 Demonic Power each
second.
(4) Crimson: Group Trance – Casting Shadow Realm conjures portals near party
members which they can use to enter shadow realm for 3 seconds. Portals last for 5
seconds.
(1) Golden: Shadow Teleport – Teleport to target location within 50 yards with your
demons. The cooldown is decreased to 7 seconds.
(5) Indigo: Twilight Trance – You and your demons phase partially from the physical
realm decreasing any damage taken but also any damage done by 50%. The spell has
a 10 seconds cooldown, lasts 5 minutes and can be removed by casting it again.
(2) Obsidian: Thin Veil – Duration of the spell is increased to 4 seconds.
Domination, 20 Demonic Power – Enslave the enemy to your will, having it fight for you until it dies
or your Demonic Power reaches 0. Your Demonic Power is reduced by 2 per second for each normal
enemy, 6 for each elite minion, 8 for each champion and 12 for each elite enemy under your control.
Enslaved enemies have their Life, damage and movement speed adjusted to player levels. The spell
does not work on players and unique monsters.
(1) Alabaster: Blood Power – Enslaved enemies receive full bonus from your Thorns
and Life regeneration items and health globes now heal enslaved demons as well.
(2) Crimson: Critical Power – Enslaved enemies can now deal critical strikes for 100%
increased damage.
(3) Golden: Mind Slaver – Your Demonic Power is reduced by 5 per second for each
elite minion, 6 for each champion and 9 for each elite enemy under your control.
(4) Indigo: Hells’ Anatomy – For each type of monster under your sway, your damage
against enemies of that type is increased by 15%.
(5) Obsidian: Mass Domination – Mind control enemies on target location, 20 yards
in radius having them fight amongst themselves for 10 seconds. The spell lasts 5
seconds on elite enemies and their minions and has a 20 seconds cooldown.
Demonology skills
Demon of Terror, 30 Demonic Power, 60 seconds cooldown – Spawn a demon composed of terror to
fight for you. This resilient demon slices enemies with its nightmarish claws every second for 133%
weapon damage as Shadow. Your Demonic Power is taxed keeping the demon under your control,
reducing it by 3 per second. Casting the spell again while the demon is spawned will activate its
special attack.
Howl of Terror, 20 seconds cooldown – Release a terrifying howl which fears all enemies
within 15 yards for 4 seconds.
(2) Alabaster: Everlasting Nightmare – The demon regenerates 5% of its total Life
each second.
(4) Crimson: Shocking Darkness – Enemies striking the demon are electrocuted for
100% weapon damage as Lightning with a 25% chance that they will be stunned for
1.5 seconds.
(1) Golden: Blink of Terror – Howl of Terror spell is replaced with Blink of Terror
which teleports the demon to target location up to 50 yards away and releases an
explosion of terrifying energy which deals 533% weapon damage as Shadow to all
enemies within 15 yards, fearing them for 4 seconds as well. Blink of Terror has a 15
seconds cooldown.
(3) Indigo: Intimidation – Whenever your demon or you fear an enemy, its damage
and movement speed are reduced by 8% for 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5
times.
(5) Obsidian: Horrific Augmentation – When the demon encounters an elite enemy, it
is empowered for 15 seconds, gaining: 30% increased resistances, attack speed and
movement speed and a cleave attack which deals 133% weapon damage as Shadow.
This effect cannot occur more than once every 60 seconds.
Demon of Destruction, 30 Demonic Power, 60 seconds cooldown – Spawn a demon composed of
destruction to fight for you. This flying demon charges entropic energy for 3 seconds before releasing
it as a steam of fiery destruction which deals 400% weapon damage as Fire to enemies in a line, up to
50 yards away. Your Demonic Power is taxed keeping the demon under your control, reducing it by 3
per second. Casting the spell again while the demon is spawned will activate its special attack.
Hellfire Nova, 20 seconds cooldown – Release a wave of hellfire which incinerates all enemies
within 20 yards for 800% weapon damage as Fire.
(4) Alabaster: Power Burn – Demon’s attacks deplete 50% of enemies’ current
resources.
(1) Crimson: Entropy – Demon’s attacks afflict enemies with a condition which
increases damage taken by 10% for 3 seconds.
(2) Golden: Hellfire Sacrifice – Instead of activating Hellfire Nova, casting the spell
again while the demon is spawned will sacrifice it in an immense explosion of hellfire
which deals 2666% weapon damage as Fire to all enemies within 30 yards, stunning
them for 2 seconds as well. The cooldown of Demon of Destruction spell is reduced
by 2 seconds for each enemy hit.
(3) Indigo: Lightning Demon – Demon’s attack deals 400% weapon damage as
Lightning every 2.25 seconds instead and Hellfire Nova spell is replaced with
Hellcharged Nova which deals 800% weapon damage as Lightning and stuns enemies
for 2 seconds. Hellcharged Nova has a 15 seconds cooldown.
(5) Obsidian: Destructive Hellspawn – Spawn a demon overloading with entropic
energies. This demon releases waves of fiery destruction every second, dealing 400%
weapon damage as Fire and increasing damage taken by enemies by 10% for 3
seconds. After 20 seconds the demon dies in an explosion of hellfire which deals

Demon of Hatred, 30 Demonic Power, 60 seconds cooldown – Spawn a demon composed of hatred
to fight for you. This baleful demon poisons nearby enemies with its protrusions for 200% weapon
damage as Poison over 2 seconds every second or electrocutes distant enemies for 133% weapon
damage as Lightning. Your Demonic Power is taxed keeping the demon under your control, reducing
it by 3 per second. Casting the spell again while the demon is spawned will activate its special attack.
Focused Hatred, 20 seconds cooldown – The demon focuses its attacks on target enemy for
10 seconds, during which time its attack speed, critical hit chance and movement speed are
increased by 25%.
(4) Alabaster: Blood Witch – Demon’s attacks heal both you and the demon for your
Life per hit value.
(3) Crimson: Malice – Demon’s poison attack stacks up to 3 times and its lightning
attack increases in damage while channeled to 266% weapon damage as Lightning
after 2 seconds.
(5) Golden: Demon Queen – Activating Focused Hatred will cause all your other
demons to focus their attacks on target enemy for 10 seconds. Their attack speed,
critical hit chance and movement speed are increased by 25% for 5 seconds as well.
(1) Indigo: Flames of Hatred – The demon is burning with hatred, engulfed in ill
flames which deal 66% weapon damage as Fire every second to all enemies within 12
yards.
(2) Obsidian: Whispers of Discord – The demon will periodically manipulate enemies
on target location, 15 yards in radius to fight amongst themselves for 5 seconds.
Mastery skills
Transmogrification, 25 Demonic Power, 30 seconds cooldown – Shapeshift into an infernal storm of
demonic might for 6 seconds. While in this shape you are impervious to harm and crowd control, can
move thru obstacles with 50% increased movement speed and you deal 800% weapon damage as
Lightning to all enemies in your path per second.
(2) Alabaster: Shadow Eidolon – Assume the form of a grim specter and cast spirit
bolts at enemies which deal 533% weapon damage as Shadow.
(3) Crimson: Havoc Comet – Assume the form of a comet of infernal might and
charge to target location thru obstacles and enemies, dealing 666% weapon damage
as Fire and exploding at the end for 1333% weapon damage as Fire in a 15 yard
radius. The spell’s cooldown is reduced to 15 seconds and cost to 15 Demonic Power.
(5) Golden: Raging Maelstrom – Enemies further away are electrocuted for 120%
weapon damage as Lightning.
(4) Indigo: Demonic Metamorphosis – Transform your demons instead: Demon of
Terror into a tornado of shadows, Demon of Destruction into a tornado of fire and
Demon of Hatred into a tornado of poison, each dealing 400% weapon damage per
second for 6 seconds.
(1) Obsidian: Putrid Tornado – Assume the form of a plague tornado and deal 800%
weapon damage as Poison per second instead, leaving behind clouds of plague which
deal 400% weapon damage as Poison over 3 seconds. Enemies cannot receive
healing within putrid clouds.
Apocalypse, 50 Demonic Power, 60 seconds cooldown – Perform an infernal ritual for 2 seconds,
which summons an onslaught of 5 gigantic meteors, each striking a point of the pentagram marked
on the ground around you and dealing 4000% weapon damage as Fire, stunning enemies that survive
for 2 seconds. Hellish flames scorch the ground afterward, dealing 1000% weapon damage as Fire
over 5 seconds.
(4) Alabaster: Netherworld – The ritual summons an army of tormented spirits which
rip thru enemies, each dealing 1333% weapon damage as Shadow and fearing
enemies for 3 seconds in the process.
(5) Crimson: Armageddon – The meteors strike for 5333% weapon damage as Fire
and while the subsequent flames deal 1333% weapon damage as Fire over 5 seconds.
(1) Golden: Thunderous Annihilation – The ritual summons a vicious storm of
monstrous thunderbolts that devastate the wide area around you for 4 seconds. Each
thunderbolt deals 4000% weapon damage as Lightning and has a 60% chance to stun
the enemy for 2 seconds.
(3) Indigo: Gruesome Damnation – Sacrifice your spawned demons, having them
explode and deal 2666% weapon damage as Shadow, Fire and Poison respectively to
all enemies within 20 yards of each demon. Gruesome Damnation has no cooldown.
(2) Obsidian: Toxic Cataclysm – The ritual unleashes a thick cloud of death and decay
in a wide area which deals 5333% weapon damage as Poison over 5 seconds and
negates any healing enemies might receive during that time.
Infernal Guard, 50 Demonic Power, 90 seconds cooldown – Perform a ritual for 2 seconds to
summon 4 infernal guardians from the depths of Burning Hells and enslave them to your will, having
them fight for you for 30 seconds. These demons attack for 133% weapon damage as Physical and
periodically taunt enemies within 20 yards.
(1) Alabaster: Pain & Anguish Elite – Infuse summoned demons with powers of pain
and anguish, having their attacks bleed enemies for additional 66% weapon damage
as Physical over 4 seconds while each demon radiates an aura of anguish which
reduces movement speed of enemies within 20 yards by 80%.
(5) Crimson: Terror Elite – Infuse summoned demons with the power of terror,
having them do additional 33% weapon damage as Lightning and giving them a new
attack, where they breathe horrifying lightning which deals 800% weapon damage as
Lightning over 2 seconds to enemies up to 20 yards away, fearing them for 3 seconds
as well.
(4) Golden: Destruction Elite – Infuse summoned demons with the power of
destruction, having them do additional 33% weapon damage as Fire while smaller
meteors continuously shower the area around them for 133% weapon damage as
Fire per meteor.
(3) Indigo: Hatred Elite – Infuse summoned demons with the power of hatred, having
their attacks do additional 80% weapon damage as Shadow over 6 seconds and curse
enemies within 20 yards with a condition which decreases damage by 30% for 10
seconds.
(2) Obsidian: Sin & Lies Elite – Infuse summoned demons with powers of sin and lies,
having them do additional 33% weapon damage as Poison and giving them a new
attack where they create mirror images which deal no damage but taunt enemies
within 20 yards and explode after 5 seconds dealing 666% weapon damage as Poison
to enemies within 12 yards.
Demon Form, 100 Demonic Power – Perform an infernal ritual for 2 seconds to transform your body
into that of a powerful demon. In Demon Form you have a separate set of skills, your Life and armor
are increased by 20%, while your dodge chance, critical strike chance and movement speed are
increased by 10% and your maximum Demonic Power is increased by 30. Your passive Demonic
Power regeneration is spent maintaining Demon Form but you can recharge Demonic Power with
your primary attack. To return to normal form, cast the spell again at any time.
Doom Blade – Eviscerate enemies in a series of 3 attacks: single target impale for 400%
weapon damage; frontal cleave for 333% weapon damage and a 360 degree swipe for 266% weapon
damage. Doom Blade generates 10 Demonic Power per attack.
Lightning Breath, 20 Demonic Power – Breathe a stream of void lightning in front of you
which shocks enemies up to 30 yards away for 800% weapon damage as Lightning.
Infernal Descent, 10 Demonic Power, 6 seconds cooldown – Ascend into air and crash down
on target location, up to 50 yards away dealing 666% weapon damage as Fire to all enemies within
15 yards and stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
Mend Wounds, 10 Demonic Power, 10 seconds cooldown – Regenerate 50% of your total Life
over 5 seconds.
(4) Alabaster: Immortality – If an attack were to kill you while in Demon Form, you
instantly enter Shadow Realm instead for 3 seconds, and regenerate 30% of total
Life. This effect has a 60 seconds cooldown. Mend Wounds heals 50% of your total
Life instantly.
(1) Crimson: Infernal Fury – While in Demon Form you are engulfed in a torrent of
hellfire which deals 66% weapon damage as Fire each second to enemies within 10
yards. If you have spent at least 20 seconds in Demon Form, upon exiting Demon
Form the excess demonic energy explodes, dealing 2000% weapon damage as Fire to
all enemies within 15 yards, knocking them back.
(3) Golden: Demon Lord – Demon Form gains a new skill: Revive Demon, 20 Demonic
Power per demon, 30 seconds cooldown – Bring your fallen demons back to life. This
skill starts on cooldown. In addition, your presence increases your spawned demons’
damage and resistances by 20%.
(2) Indigo: Diabolical Mind – Demon Form retains 1 skill from your normal form. Skill
allocated to skill slot 3 is chosen for this, and its Demonic Power cost is reduced by
50%.
(5) Obsidian: Dark Enlightenment – Your presence increases the primary attribute of
each party member by 15%.
Diabolic Ascendancy, 30 Demonic Power, 90 seconds cooldown – Empower yourself for 15 seconds
and gain additional 20 Demonic Power each second in normal form and 10 Demonic Power each
second in demon form.
(3) Alabaster: Blood Ascendancy – While empowered, you also gain 50% increased
Life per hit, Life per second, Life per kill and health globe healing bonus.
(4) Crimson: Infernal Apex – While empowered, each time your Demonic Power
recharges to full you emanate a wave of hellfire which deals 400% weapon damage
as Fire to all enemies within 20 yards, knocking them back as well.
(5) Golden: Power Overwhelming – While empowered, you gain additional 30
Demonic Power each second in normal form and 15 Demonic Power each second in
demon form instead.
(2) Indigo: Diabolic Readiness – While empowered, the cooldowns of all your spells,
other than Diabolic Ascendancy expire twice as fast.
(1) Obsidian: Demonic Infusion – While empowered, your demons gain additional
100% resistances and damage.
Passive skills
(10) Hell Lies Within – Your maximum Demonic Power is increased by 30 and your Demonic
Power regeneration is increased by 3. In demon form you now regenerate 3 Demonic Power
per second and your Demonic Power regeneration is increased by items at 50% efficiency.
(10) Shadow Wards – Damage taken by you is reduced by 20%.
(13) Blood Lust – Whenever you pick up a health globe, you and your demons’ attack and
movement speed are increased by 5% for 15 seconds. This effect can stack up to 3 times.
(16) Infernal Masochist – Whenever you take damage, you gain 1 Demonic Power for each
3% of your maximum Life lost.
(20) Grim Aura – You deal 20% increased damage to enemies within 12 yards. The range of
this effect is extended by a half of your gold and health globe pickup radius.
(23) Sinister Acuity – If you control no spawned or enslaved demons, the cooldowns of
Defensive and Witchcraft spells are reduced by 1 second for each 10% of your total Life lost
to damage.
(26) Demonologist – Your spawned demons receive full bonus from your Thorns and Life
regeneration items and their total Life and damage are increased by 25%.
(30) Unholy Pact – When hit, 20% of incoming damage is suffered by your demons instead,
divided evenly. If an attack were to kill you, one of your spawned demons will die instead and
a boon is cast on you which protects you from harm and crowd control for 3 seconds. This
effect can occur only once every 90 seconds.
(33) Soul Reaper – Whenever you or your demons slay an enemy, you are healed for 3% of
total Life and gain 5 Demonic Power.
(36) Dominator – Duration of you and your demons’ debuff and crowd control skills on your
enemies is increased by 35%, while the duration of such effects on you and your demons is
reduced by 25%.
(40) Infernal Mastery – Whenever you or your demons slay an enemy, the cooldowns of
Mastery spells and all your spells while in demon form are reduced by 1 second.
(43) Master of Terror – Enemies feared by you or your demons take 20% increased damage
and the duration of you and your demons’ fear effects are increased by 35%. In addition, you
and your demons cannot be feared.
(46) Master of Destruction – Your critical strike chance is increased by 5% and your critical
strike damage is increased by 50%.
(50) Master of Hatred – Your attacks have a 25% chance of converting enemies to fight for
you for 8 seconds.
(55) Wicked Bargain – You deal 50% more damage at the cost of 100% more damage taken.
(60) Demonic Might – Your spawned demons are infused with terrible power which increases
their armor and damage by 50%, empowering them with infernal auras as well: Terror Aura –
Decreases movement speed by 50% of enemies within 50 yards; Destruction Aura – Deals
133% weapon damage as Fire every 2 seconds to all enemies within 50 yards; Hatred Aura –
Enemies within 50 yards will fight amongst themselves as well. For each spawned demon the
cost of this power is 3 Demonic Power per second. This power ends when your Demonic
Power reaches 0 and will activate once it recharges above 30 Demonic Power.
(65) Sin of Greed – Your magic find and bonus gold stats are increased by 15%.
(70) Chosen of Chaos – All your attacks deal Chaos damage instead. Chaos damage checks
enemy’s lowest resistance to calculate damage done. Your attack speed, critical strike
chance, splash damage on hit, defense, dodge and movement speed stats have their values
