    1/1

he use of sage is an ancient Afrakan custom (which is demonstrated many

times on the walls of Kemet) to deter evil spirits.

It is not the sage that is the power, but what it symbolizes. It symbolizes theuse of Afrakan spirituality to defeat our enemies. he importance of the sage

is that it has a long lasting smoke. he smoke is symbolic through metonymy

of !re. It is our need to create spiritual !re (not literal) to destroy our

    enemies.

"eople who don#t have a relationship with Amen$%a won#t understand this

and will treat it as they do the teachings of &hristianity. 'owever, Amen$%a

does not say to turn the other check. Amen$%a stands for asserting your

divinity at all times. Amen$%a is not ehovah, the mythical god that lives

outside you. Amen$%a is the power of od living in you. *hen we worship

Amen$%a we are worshipping our own divine strength.

hus, when we see a goddess do this we have to understand that the sage is

a symbol of the call, the call to use Afrakan spiritual science to be triumphant

over the wicked. he spiritual !re in us smokes and can burn down all

enemies. *e don#t do this through rioting, but through manifesting the god$

self that is like a massive !re (symbolized by the smoking sage) which is aforce like no other+ he oruba sacred te-t, the du Ifa, says that man must

become like !re, paving its way as it demands.
