SCOPE Scope of the technical Construction File is to gather and to organize all technical documentations of

the products according to applicable and reference European directives and European Regulation ECE R10

to demonstrate the conformity of products to essential safety requirements. The Technical Construction File

is the key element for assessing the conformity of the product about the control of the market by Member

States according the conformity assessment based on the statement of compliance made by the

manufacturer with the intervention of a third party or a Notified Body. The amount and level of detail in the

technical dossier depend on the characteristics of the apparatus and from what is technically necessary to

demonstrate compliance with the harmonized standards and the essential requirements of European

Directives. The documentation shall be clear and easy to read, reading comprehension and information

should always be commensurate with the complexity of the product.

Founder: in the case of products belonging to a family is the product for complex electronic, mechanical,

electrical and more representative of all other products

Family: set of related products together to-use, electronic design, mechanical design with the same

characteristics but different complexity

EC type-approval: the procedure whereby a Member State certifies that a type of vehicle, system,

component or separate technical unit satisfies the relevant technical requirements of this Directive; the EC

type approval of systems, components and separate technical units may also be referred to as ‘EC

component type approval’

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

General Description:

The Tail-lift KIT produced by Anteo SpA are a systems for driving the tail lift. The system can be configured

with or without electric board and it can be supplied by 12Vdc or 24 Vdc nominal voltage. The tail lift kit can

be sold in 6 configurations:

1) 3952_24 FULL;

2) 3952_12 FULL;

3) 3952_24 LIGHT;

4) 3952_12 LIGHT;

5) 3952_24 NOBOARD;

6) 3952_12 NOBOARD.

KIT code 3952_XX_ NO BOARD Is different by others because it is configured without electric control board.

The difference between KIT code 3952_XX FULL and code 3952_XX LIGHT is that the code Light provides

an number of I/O less than code FULL.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN KITS:

All KITS have the same scheme and the same type of components but they are different between

them about:

1) Voltage input: Any model powered by 12 Vdc and any model powered by 24 Vdc

2) Number of I/O: Each kit can be provided by a different number of I/O according the specific use.

3) Electric Board: models “NO board” has not electric main board

All KITS have the similar construction characteristics and the same intended use.

INTENDED USE:

Each Kit shall be installed to drive the tail lift when only the main motor of vehicle is switch off. Any

other use is denied. The components of each kit are chosen considering type of tail lift. In the Annex A it is

reported the possible configuration for each kit model.

CATEGORY OF VEHICLE:

The Tail-lift KIT produced by Anteo SpA can be installed on Vehicle category M, N, O. The electric

installation is the same for all categories of vehicle M, N, O. According the installation manual there is not

difference about electric installation.

LIMITATION OF USE:

Considering the intended use all kits shall be used for the purposes authorized by law and user

manual. Any other not permitted use shall be considered illegitimate. It is forbidden to use the tail lift if the

main vehicle motor is not switch off.

INFORMATION ABOUT TAIL LIFT KIT:

General:

In the Annex A it is reported the possible configuration for each kit model.

Each kit is sold with the accompanying documents required for proper installation:

User and manteinance manual

Internal production control:

Each KIT is built according to specific internal procedures of ANTEO’s quality system. The ANTEO’s

quality system is not certified by third parts according to ISO standard but it is evaluated with an specific

COP audit and assessment by the European Body. The reference documents about the ANTEO’s quality

system are reported in the annex L.

REFERENCE STANDARD AND ESSENTIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Introduction:

According to the differences between all Tail lift KIT all tests have been performed on the KIT model

“FULL” supplied by 24 Vdc and 12 Vdc with greater main power. It is not necessary to repeat test on the

other kits because they have less power than tested KIT, same construction and same electrical connection.

Reference Directive: The relevant applicable EU regulation on the basis of technical specifications are:

• ECE R10 Regulation (Rev.4-2012 + EC-2012 + A1-2012 + A2-2013) Concerning the adoption of

uniform technical prescriptions for wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts which can be fitted

and/or be used on wheeled vehicles and the conditions for reciprocal recognition of approvals

granted on the basis of these prescriptions;

Test Report:

The result of EMC test to demonstrate the conformity to ECE R10 Regulation requirements are

reported in the following documents:

EMC Test Report EMC – See Annex J.

EC Type approval Certificate – See Annex K.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The electrical/electronic system(s) or ESAs shall be so designed, constructed and fitted as to enable

the vehicle, in normal conditions of use, to comply with the EMC requirements of Regulation ECE R10 and in

particular radiated emission requirements. For more specification see the ECE R10 Regulation.
