The Tipton Slasher

I was fortunate enough to purchase ‘number 2’ Tipton Slasher valve amplifier a few months ago. It was not cheap but it was an informed purchase, as a novice guitar player the ability to ‘get the right sound’ has always eluded me….not any more! This thing is unreal, for that definitive deep throaty rock sound that can literally pull your eyes out of their sockets but without blowing your windows out and really annoying the neighbours this is a must! This little 6W amp has both the power to rip your nuts off at rehearsals through a 2 x 12 or to lightly caress the inner sanctum of your brain in the bedroom with dreamy tones only expected from a 100W Marshall at full gain. This little beauty solves all my set up problems for practice, rehearsals, performance and home recording. It even bloody looks good and wont break you’re back carrying it around.

But the best part of owning a Tipton Slasher, well it’s the knowledge that this is not a mass produced, off the shelf piece of kit. It has been painstakingly designed and built by hand for one purpose, to produce that wonderful rock tone we are all looking for without any fuss, just plug in and play. Its creator really understands what that ‘tone’ is and has produced the embodiment of rock in one unit. The components used are all of the highest quality and have been chosen to provide longevity; this is a quality piece of kit people. I am a happy bunny indeed and have been rewarded with the chance I took to order one of these babies at Music Live last year.….the smile on my face

every time I use this thing is worth its weight in gold……my advice…..get one as soon as you can..…you will not be sorry!

Your quality of service and friendly advice is much appreciated in this watered down mass produced dog eat dog world that we live in…..oooh I can feel a song coming on!
