December is DISEASE PREVENTION & TREATMENT MONTH
Presidents Report Car Rally- We had a great day driving around the Bellarine Peninsula looking for answers to Guy's questions. I feel so much more familiar with this part of our neighbouring areas. Eddie and Rhonda won, Nils, Carl and Christine were awarded the wooden spoon. Thanks to Damien for open his home to us for a great BBQ. A good night at the Combined Christmas party with the Inner Wheel hosting the event at the Italian club and Point Gellibrand and Williamstown club members in attendance. Nils had the honour of lighting the Candle of Friendship. The Club house was once a picture theatre.
Famers market BBQ had a profit of $577 on Sunday Certificate of Appreciation from the Walk a mile in my shoes foundation for our help providing a BBQ on the day. Our first meeting next year will be a Cluster event, a BBQ as per usual at the Kooringal Golf Club January 21st.
Apologies: Stan, Jack, Tony, George Guests: Alex Gomez, Dianne Townsend Announcements Guy thanked the participants of the car rally and a Big Thanks to Damien and Laurel sharing their house oat Ocean Grove for the post rally BBQ. Money raised from the car rally $400 which is being donated to Yvonne's Wellness Centre. Hazel is organising a Christmas Raffle the prize being a Big Hamper, each member will be expected to take a book of tickets to sell. Hazel will be selling tickets again at Coles and needs some helpers to give her a break. Funds raised to go to Highlands PNG. Damien is unsure when the next Early Act Meeting is on, he will let the club know when he does. Murray asked who is attending the Conference next year and where should we have our Club dinner. Eddie spoke about the new proposed schedule for our meetings next year, we will be meeting nightly alternate weeks at Pelicans Landing, the alternate week we will be choosing somewhere to meet or going to another clubs meeting or vocational visit.
