Cirrus Clouds
• These types of clouds are made of tiny pieces of ice because they are so high in the air.
• These feathery or wispy clouds float high in the air.
• You often see Cirrus clouds in good or fair weather.
Cumulus Clouds
• These look like cotton or puffy.
• You usually see these clouds in good weather.
• Weather can become stormy when cumulus clouds become large.
Stratus Clouds
• These clouds form in layers.
• These clouds usually spread across the sky.
• You often see Stratus clouds during rain.
• Stratus clouds that form on the surface of the Earth are known as fog.
