I will tell you about the sun.

Is the sun a planet? No, the sun is not a planet. The sun is a star.

How was the sun made? The sun was born in a vast cloud of gas

around 5 billon years ago. If you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you

would weigh 2707 pounds on the sun.

What the sun looks like. What it looks like on Earth. What it looks like in space.

The Sun’s Layers There are 6 layers in the sun. The chromosphere is the hottest layer. The corona circle’s the sun like a crown.

Solar eclipse The moon sometime’s blocks the sun. This happens when the moon lines up with the sun.

The Planets that Revolve around the sun

There are 9 planets that orbit our sun. The sun’s gravity pulled the planets on to

their orbit.

Is the sun made of lava? No, the sun is not made of lava, but it is

made of other hot gases. The temperature of the sun is 10,000

degrees f.(5,600 degrees c.).
