TTI Sustainability Mission Statement Corporate responsibility has been a part of the TTI lexicon since the company’s inception in 1971.
The corporate mission statement that began with service to our employees and customers has been expanded to include our responsibility to the environment.
TTI is dedicated to actively reducing our environmental impact internally and along the supply channel.

TTI Sustainability Mission Statement Based on the guidance of ISO 14001, TTI’s environmental commitment includes conserving energy and water and reducing waste and pollution. We define and achieve these goals by continuously evaluating operations and acting to ensure we are as efficient as possible.
As applicable authorized distributors of components, TTI has adopted environmental directives: RoHS, REACH, WEEE and others, to contribute to the protection of human health and environmentally sound recovery and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. TTI complies with city, state and federal laws, which address these concerns, and strives for even higher standards as described in the EICC® Code of Conduct.

To accomplish this, we pursue a number of programs that protect and improve ourenvironment and foster ethical and safe working environments. Our guiding principles:
• Fulfill the responsibility of trustee of the environment for this and future generations. Reduce and minimize energy and water consumption and material pollution prevention through continual improvement of our environmental management system using recycled materials and earth friendly substances whenever practical. Lessen our impact, reuse, recycling and reduction. • Determine the significant environmental aspects over which the organization has control, and with this context, set andreview applicable environmental objectives and targets through periodic meetings.
• Comply with relevant environmental legislation and regulations and with other requirements to which the organizationsubscribes including ISO 14001.

Water Conservation Installed Zurn Low Flow Valves in Urinals and Water Closets
Previous Gallons per Flush (GPF) urinals 1.0 / 1.6 GPF At 480 employees, using Handbook of Water Use and Conservation, WaterFlow Press: We have reduced our consumption by 129,686 gallons per year for savings of 945,360 gallons. (2006 thru 2012)
Total Energy Reduction Replaced 545 Metal Halide Light Fixtures in the TX Warehouse with 545 T8 Fluorescent 6-lamp Fixtures • Previous fixtures consumed 456 watts each!• New GE LED fixtures consume 205 watts each!

Allows the lighting to the aisles on the first and second level to burn only when someone is actually picking parts. These lamps normally operate from 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. M-F for a total of 75 hours.!(Estimated at 25% of the lights burned 75 hrs per week.)

Installed 14 Air Curtains Over the Most Commonly Used Warehouse Dock Doors The air curtains block 76% of the outside air from infiltrating air conditioned warehouses, minimizing temperature fluctuations.

• Replaced six old pumps with five energy efficient pumps
• New roof on chiller deck with energy reflective coating
• Replaced two large air handling units with two high efficiency units
The new chillers will save a combined

Post Consumer Recycling Cardboard and Wastepaper Since 2011 TTI has reduced the cost of collecting and transporting reusable paper material to a few dollars a day and saved 500 tons from the landfill.!
Recycling Obsolete Inventory Through 2013 our component recycling program has recycled 768,982 lbs of material.!
