We are the ONLY certified instructors in the area for the new North Dakota Class 1 Concealed Weapons Certification, and will be holding a course on Saturday, December 5, from 8AM – 5PM, including state-certified instruction, testing, and shooting course. Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for a

Power System Dispatcher.The successful applicant is required to operate and monitor the Cooperative’s Electric Power System. This is accomplished through the use of computer modeling, real time data acquisition (SCADA) and other digital communications systems. Duties also include coordination of switching requests between adjacent utility systems and monitoring and reporting the electric plant. Other job functions include, but are not limited to, work order support, monitoring physical plant alarms and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

This is a full time, non-exempt, salary paid position. Must have a high school diploma or completion of G.E.D. and have completed a two year technical course related to the electrical power industry. A minimum of five years experience in the operational aspect of an electric utility may be considered in lieu of the education requirements. Experience with personal computers and Microsoft Office products is required. Experience with WindMil Modeling and SCADA a definite plus.

The applicant selected for this position is required to live in close proximity to Williston, North Dakota.
