Coming Up:  

Virtue:  Kindness  “Be  kind  and  compassionate  to    one  another.”  –  Ephesians  4:32  

Bible Verse:

Themes:  God  Made  Me  Unique;  Getting  To  Know  You.    

Language  Arts:  Our  nursery  rhyme  this  month  is  “Humpty  Dumpty.”  We’ll  begin  learning  to  recognize  Aa,  Bb  and  Cc  this  month.    

Science:  We’ll  begin  charting  our  weather  and  talking  about  what  we  see  when  we  look  out  the  window  (sunny,  cloudy,  rainy?)    

Math:  As  we  learn  the  days  of  the  week,  we’ll  also  count  the  days  on  our  calendar.    

Music:  We’ll  begin  learning  rhythm  as  we  recite  “Humpty  Dumpty.”  

Monthly Lessons:

 Sept  14   Kelso’s  Choice  discussion  with  our       students.    

Sept  22   Scholastic  book  orders  due.

Notes: Welcome  to  a  brand  new  school  year  at  Little  Sprouts  Christian  Preschool!    We  are  so  excited  to  start  our  year.    We  will  take  some  time  the  first  week  to  talk  about  our  daily  schedule  and  classroom  expectations.    It  will  be  very  helpful  to  go  over  Kelso’s  Choice  with  your  child  at  home.    If  you  haven’t  already  brought  in  a  family  photo,  please  do  so.    This  will  be  used  during  our  “All  About  Me”  activities.        

The  WA  State  Emergency  Management  Division  conducts  a  Lahar  Siren  Test  on  the  first  Monday  of  every  month  at  12:00  Noon.    We  will  let  the  kids  know  that  this  is  just  a  test,  and  there  is  nothing  to  be  worried  about.    Please  reiterate  this  to  your  child.    Thank  you!
