What is Frankenstein
Frankenstein is considered the first novel to be the first legitimate example of the genre we now call science fiction.
Is Frankenstein Science Fiction or an Autobiography?
If Frankenstein is an autobiography consider the essential elements. Each is certainly drawn from Mary's life: the motherless child; the father rejecting the child; a grieving mother mourning for a dead child; a university student conducting wild experiments. For it to be Science fiction
Real Science!
