Religion, politics and scienceAdvancement of humanity must accept reality
No technological advancement limit
PoliticsReligion
Religion• Technology can help keep spiritual realization
Without religion:• Technology becomes self-defeating with no moral constraints
Politics• Political stability produces an intellectually stimulating environment
which motivates thinking and technological advancement
Without politics:• Political instability or poor political environment enables production
of technology which only benefits a few, or finds a system of control so close to slavery that there are no societal resources left for technological growth
Science• Technology produced based on scientific discoveries
Without science:• Technology will not function properly or well
Humanity requires God for morality• Human mind can distinguish truth from falsehood• Human heart can feel right from wrong• No universal cultural norms• Esoteric tribal cults found historically throughout the world• Minority practices such as cannibalism and black magic shunned by
majority of other cultures

Large-scale governance: Dynasties controlling an empire
Provincial governance: Social networks controlling communities
Family governance: Inheritance controlling the nuclear family
Seed artificial intelligence (SAI)• Artificial intelligence that can progressively enhance itself an infinite
number of times or until a strictly theoretical upper physical limit on intelligence is reached.• Also known as super-intelligence.
Singularity• Concept that an infinite intelligence can evolve from endless
generations of progressive enhancement.• French philosopher Voltaire: “If God did not exist, it would be
necessary to invent him.”• The presumed finiteness of the universe itself gives us an idea that
infinite intelligence is not possible within that framework.• Our chances of being by sheer coincidence without God => 1 / ∞ %• Our chances of being here with God => (100 - 1 / ∞) %• Infinity (∞) represents the limit of the size of the universe.
P=NP? Unsolved computer science question• Clay Institute of Mathematics “Millennium Problem” with $1 million
prize.• The most important question in computer science.• Dozens of papers published claiming to have P=NP, P!=NP answers
and a few attempting to show no solution or un-provability.• Solutions are checked “quickly” in linear time• To find all solutions requires exponential time?
P=NP? example: the subset sum problem• Given a set (or multiset) of integers, is there a non-empty subset
whose sum is zero?• For example, given the set {−7, −3, −2, 5, 8}, the answer is yes
because the subset {−3, −2, 5} sums to zero.• Complexity can be viewed as 2 parameters: N, the number of decision
variables, and P, the precision of the problem.
P=NP? Possible resolutions…• P=NP• P!=NP• No solution• P=NP or P!=NP yet cannot be proved• No solution yet cannot be proved
P=NP? Possible resolution: P=NP• Linear time solution possible.• Impossibly claims to prove that infinite intelligence can be created.• Consequences: Every other mathematical problem solved by
computers almost instantly. Computers could defeat humans at any activity including famous games such as Chess or the Japanese game of Go where humans are still able to defeat even the best computers. One can go so far as to say that predicting the future becomes possible.
P=NP? Possible resolution: P!=NP• No linear time solution is possible.• Impossibly claims that infinite intelligence is not possible.• Consequences: Computer algorithms will have a maximum limit and
heuristics are the best hope for improving speed depending on the domain specific area being focused on.
P=NP? Possible resolution: No solution• Formal proof shows that the problem cannot be solved as linear time
or exponential time.• Impossibly shows that infinite intelligence can be created or is not
possible.• Consequences: More research would be conducted to find a middle
an algorithm slower than linear time but faster than exponential time.
P=NP? Possible resolution: theological• P=NP• P!=NP• No solution• P=NP or P!=NP yet cannot be proved• No solution yet cannot be proved
• Solution and proof are unneeded by God’s infinite intelligence and lack of temporal limits. P=NP, P!= NP, No solution not possible and problem will be proved unprovable.
Mathematical Attributes of God• Uniqueness• Eternalness• Absoluteness• Uncreatable• Irreproducibility• Singular Incomparability
Fear of super-intelligence• Friendly or unfriendly in respect to humans is a worrisome unknown.• Super-intelligent creation might be considered as an “alien”.• “Alien" can be thought of as any being with a higher intelligence
quotient (IQ) than one's own with even many humans unable to understand or appreciate others.• God already has infinite intelligence, a finite limit for our ability to
create super-intelligence must exist yet without understanding of God's messages, such an artificial intelligence risks representing the polar opposite of His will, that of Satan.
Moral artificial intelligence• Requires postulates which must be humanity and morality focused as
mankind is a creation of God:1) All humans must be subject to God’s laws.2) All messages of God are perfect.3) Nothing in the messages of God can be proven inconsistent or
untrue.
Isaac Asimov: Three Laws of Robotics• Contrast to inevitable flaws of manmade morality which are focused
on artificial intelligence more than humanity:1) A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a
human being to come to harm.2) A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except
where such orders would conflict with the First Law.3) A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection
does not conflict with the First or Second Law.Many flaws though as example: What if 2 humans will come into harm
and the robot can save either one but not both?
Political and Representational Systems following the laws of God can be realized through Artificial Intelligence• God’s laws implemented through artificial intelligence.• Entire governance integrated with artificial intelligence.• Non-parasitic: people complement the artificial intelligence and vice-
versa.• The morality ranges from the system and representation depictions
will be respected.• People’s morality derived from God.• Governance morality derived from artificial intelligence derived from
laws of God.
Conclusions• Technology will not advance without the integration of religion,
politics and science!• Technology is ultimately no more than an incremental expression of
work towards artificial intelligence.• Boundlessness in perfection does not exist yet boundlessness in
striving for such perfection does.• Thus can never reach the limit, but artificial limitations by arbitrary
separation or manmade boundaries will prevent progress.• Functional definitions aside, Technology = Artificial Intelligence
Conclusions
So-called “Separation of Church and State”
