• Energy efficient buildings are ofcrucial importance in a context wherecities are booming
• Method on energy efficient building design should be made available
• The existing standards and guidelinesshould be more integrated and comprehensive
• Raising awareness campaign and behaviour changes towards energy effieciency
Therefore...

No Scenario Recomendation
How Consideration
1. Primary Recommendation 1Improving Lighting Devices o Task Lighting
o Rearrange Lighting Zone o Replacing TLT8 with TLT5 o Housekeeping control on lighting
Potential Saving
Investment Cost
Level of difficulty for Installation
2. Primary Recommendation 2Recommendation 1 and Improving glazing material performance + Chiller Efficiency
o Recommendation 1o Replacing glaze material with SHGC = 0.371; LT =
0.309; U value = 5.797 W/m2 K o Chiller Effiency by:
Conduct online measurement to test overall chillers condition
Check performance of AHUs Replace the old control valve of AHU House Keeping and Maintenance
Potential Saving
Investment Cost
Level of difficulty for Installation

3. Secondary RecommendationFloor and Ceiling Material
o Using Carpet Floor and Acoustic Ceiling
Noise Reduction
Investment Cost
Level of difficulty for Installation
4. Additional Recommendation Improving Operational Procedure
o Installing power meter for MVAC, Lighting, and Plug load separately, so that the energy consumption of each load can be monitored.
o Installing BAS in order to monitor & control the energy consumption
o Occupant education to increase the awareness of energy efficiency, such as broadly campaign that the comfort indoor air temperature is 25OC + 1OC, efficient use of lighting device, and so on
