gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
Psalm 103:1-149 He will not always accuse, nor will he
harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us

us.
Psalm 103:1-1413 As a father has compassion on his

dust.
Psalm 103:1-141 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost
being, praise his holy name.

Feed yourselves on the Word of God.
Luke 8:11-13, 15 11"This is the meaning of the
parable: The seed is the word of God. 12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe
and be saved.
Luke 8:11-13, 15 13Those on the rock are the ones who
receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They
believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.
Luke 8:11-13, 15 15But the seed on good soil stands

Philippians 4:8 (NLT)And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this
letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about
things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are
excellent and worthy of praise.
2 Corinthians 10:4-54 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary,
they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Going Through Hard Times Well
Don’t go through hard times alone.

Luke 11:9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the

Going Through Hard Times Well
Don’t quit.
Hebrews 10:32-3932 Remember those earlier days after you
had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face
of suffering. 33 Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with
those who were so treated.
Hebrews 10:32-3934 You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of
your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting
possessions. 35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
Hebrews 10:32-3936 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For in just a very
