The most biggest and most famous pyramid is the great pyramid which measures 140 meters and 20 years to build.
There is another pyramid called the pyramid of Giza.

The ancient egyptians belived that if the pharaohs body could be mumified after death the pharoahs would live forever. The sphinx guard of the pyramids was basicily a body of a lion and a head of a pharoah .
