PARTNERSHIPS

By: Morgan Pavelka, Keith Berry, and Nick Wingate

OFFER LETTER

Dear James Parnin, Oley’s Pizza:

As you know the Tincaps have been serving the Fort Wayne area for over 30 years. Having strong Fort

Wayne roots is very important to the Tincaps. Which is why Oley’s Pizza is the best option as a

Corporate Partner. We at Parkview Field believe in creating a well-known brand with a wide variety of

exposure through the minor league. We want to bring more awareness of Oley’s Pizza and the Tincaps

to Allen County. Awareness is a growing topic as of last year 2014, we had fans travel from 560

different zip codes. We bring awareness to all our sponsors affectively as the Tincaps say “WE’VE

MADE AN APPLE WITH A POT ON ITS HEAD WILDLY POPULAR THINK WHAT WE CAN DO

FOR YOUR BRAND!”

Connecting business to business partnerships that last a life time is a big part of corporate

sponsorship. Our goal is to create relationships and network with the best corporations. Having a

native Fort Wayne company networking with us is the kind of connections we at Parkview Field want

in this community. Strengthening the fans and communities relationship is the best way to build

connections and grow.

Maximizing our well-known brand as the Tincaps to benefit our partnering company’s needs. Using

our known minor league team to promote Oley’s Pizza is great publicity. Our total attendance from

2009-2014 was about 2,420,410 people. We want to strengthen the already known national and local

image of Oley’s Pizza, and with attendance rising rapidly each year this will be easily accomplished.

The Tincaps want to connect with our fans to reach different target markets. This can be

accomplished by marketing on different platforms. Social media is a growing platform in this day and

age. It also reaches a younger demographic. Another marketing tactic is field signage this will be

visible by thousands of people by the time season is over. Our last platform is on field promotions,

getting fans excited about the sponsor takes creative ideas that are put into play. We want Oley’s Pizza

to be the most popular pizza joint in Allen County.

We invite Oley’s Pizza to be a part of our highly-targeted and successful partnerships by becoming a

Loyal Tincaps Partner.

Your package of benefits includes:

Game Day Promotions/Broadcasts: One of our game day promotions will be an Oley’s T-shirt

Toss. At this event Oley’s Pizza would provide us with about 700 shirts, and the Tincaps will provide

700 shirts as well, and they would be distributed during all 11 Saturday home games. This is creating

awareness, and excitement among the fans about our sponsor Oley’s. Also who doesn’t love a FREE

SHIRT! Something we are implementing for all 70 home games is Oley’s delivery of the night. One

lucky fan will receive a whole pizza provided by Oley’s Pizza. This will give Oley’s a positive image in

the eyes of the fans. We have two more promotions that will create hype for Oley’s Pizza. Dollar Slice

Night is paired with Thirsty Thursday which is a total of 11 games. With the cheap beer and over 21

crowd it’s the perfect fit for Oley’s. Each slice of pizza will be one dollar every Thursday. Having

something that gets the fans involved on the field and during the game is extremely important. Fans

don’t just want to watch a baseball game, they want creative entertainment too. My last promotion

that creates excitement is The Oley’s Pizza Eating Contest, this would be the 1st Saturday home game

of each month which equals 6 games. Three fans will get the opportunity to face off in a pizza eating

contest which will take place during the seventh inning stretch. Sports broadcasting is obviously a

large part of any Sporting event, so we plan to give Oley’s Pizza one spot during the seventh inning

stretch this will be for all 70 home games.

Signage/Ads: Signage is a great way to create awareness within Parkview Field. Oley’s Pizza

would receive an outfield wall billboard that is 13 feet by 11 feet. This would be in the center of the

outfield which would be the most visible sign on the outfield wall. Oley’s would also receive an

elevated sign by the concession stand that is 4 feet by 4 feet. This would be there for as long as the

concession was ran by Oley’s Pizza. A half page ad in every home game program for all 70 home

games. Oley’s Pizza would be able to design their ad as they see fit. The internet is a huge part of

today’s advertisements, we are offering a website ad on the Tincaps home page all season long. Also

some social media post during the Oley’s sponsored events. This will help you reach a larger

demographic.

Oley’s Benefits: Oley’s Pizza will receive the right to use the Tincaps logo and have access to

players for signings or other promotions. This is using the Teams Leverage to promote Oley’s in a

positive way. The Tincaps are all about employee moral something we offer is one of our luxury suites

for all home games. Oley’s will receive 20 guest tickets and 4 parking passes. Having the opportunity

to make money is a huge part of any sponsorship. The awareness payoff is very rewarding, but having

an opportunity to make money at the field is a huge plus. The Tincaps want Oley’s Pizza to take over

one concession stand at the park for all events, Oley’s also get 75% of the profits. We would provide all

the drinks, and other concession necessities. One last thing the Tincaps want to offer Oley’s are Jerseys

made for the Pizza joint paid for by the Tincaps. The front will have Oley’s logo on it, and they will be

worn in five different home games.

The fee for the Partnership package includes signage, promotions, broadcasting, ads, and the suite

which cost about 20,000 dollars.
