Items to Remember• Events are fun and a great way to meet people • You must follow MSP (minimum sales pricing). • You are strongly encouraged to register your event. • Every tradeshow/event has different rules.
• Some events only allow one group, while others may allow more than one.
• The average team can greet about 300-500 people per show, many shows have 1,000’s of attendees.
• People buy from those they feel most comfortable with.
• You are working together, not in competition with each other.

• Each Ambassador can generate 40-50 “quality” leads per day on average
• Get the prospect interested in targeted products then upgrade to the opportunity
• Great way to grow a market

Keys to `SuccessPlan an overview seminar within days of the event, followed by a second event related to training and opportunity for prospects to invite guests.
• Follow up within 48 hours! • Pre-select hotel or location within 20-30
minutes from tradeshow for a follow-up event • Use giveaways as incentives to show up.
• Must meet in person to receive the prize. • Everyone can be a winner!
• Hand out an invitation to the follow up event after entry form is completed
• Require prospect to R.S.V.P. If they cannot attend then set up a one-on-one appointment.
• If the event is on a weekend have the 1st follow-up event the next Tuesday or Wednesday night
• Set up another presentation & training on the following Saturday morning.
• If possible, spend 7-10 days in the city before and after, or make sure to have qualified trainers available to help with the follow-up process.

Search for Events • Check city convention center
website (List of all shows for the year)
• Chamber of commerce listings • Advertisements on billboards,
newspapers, radio, and magazines

How to Find Events
Be Wary Of • Free admission shows
• Shows with less than several thousand attendees
• Shows without community advertising
• Not related to what you're promoting • Any event that the booth cost
is more than reasonable return on investment
Rules For Selecting Events • Find events that fit your demographic
• Pay attention to the show size, are there enough attendees
• Find out if the show allows for similar products to be sold
• Attendees with disposable income • Try to select shows located within driving
distance of local support
