DIRECTOR’S CUTJanice Bullman, executive director

As we come to the last quarter of this year, it is truly amazing to look at all of the accomplishments of “your” Franklin

Chamber of Commerce. It takes many volunteer and staff hours to make it all happen, and we must thank the Chamber’s Board of Directors for their strong leadership during a year of transformation, growth and achievements.

Three of our Chamber board members transitioned off the board over the past few months. I work so closely with our board that it is hard to say goodbye when a board member leaves their role with the Chamber. We develop a special level of trust and respect.

Greg Taylor, former board president, vice president, member and

chairman of numerous committees, and volunteer extraordinaire, transitioned off the board to experience new leadership roles and responsibilities. Melanie Zimmerman, former vice president and enthusiastic committee member, made a change in her role, leaving the Chamber board of directors. Steve Hood, committee member and an energetic volunteer resigned his position on the board to pursue other professional responsibilities.

Needless to say, these three individuals have left their imprint on the Franklin Chamber! Should you encounter Greg, Melanie and Steve, please acknowledge their many contributions to this community and the Franklin Chamber.

Ably filling the three vacated board seats are: Mark Gavorski, Homeview Health & Rehab; Krista Linke, Community Development City of

Franklin and Cheryl Morphew, Johnson County Development Corp. We welcome our new board members and look forward to what we will accomplish together.

A sincere “thank you” is extended to all of our board members, volunteers, committees, sponsors and donors. The Chamber’s accomplishments are your accomplishments!

If you would like to learn more about the Franklin Chamber or how you can get more involved, call or stop by our office. You are always welcome.
