By Mas Snitwongse

Dear readers, The origin of this book is a documenting report during my exploration in this mystical world. I have written this journal in order to inspect and study the nature of these amazing creatures that I have found. I do apologise in advance for any information that may disturb some of the readers. My aim of the journal is only to report this great discovery for the sake of science. I hope that you could find this document useful in some point.

Respectfully, Scubadiver

It’s all started with the mysterious case of UFO....

The UFOs (Unidentified Floating Objects) were spotted around the coastal border of my homeland. Inside of the objects contained a message written in an unfamiliar language, which later we could decode it to the simple sentence

“Wish you were here”.

Page 7: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 8: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

This mysterious invitation drives our people mad with curiosity. In the consequences, the government made an order to set up a scientific team to help investigate the case. I was one of the expedition team and our task is to search the source of the UFOs.

Page 10: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

From the scientific assumption, the message should be from the ocean. As we calculated the current and the wind, we have had an estimated spot where the UFOs should originally come from. We’ve spent months and months searching in the sea, trying to find whoever sent those messages.

As my diving partner and I went on another expedition, I saw something glowing at the bottom of the sea. I went deeper, tried to have a clearer sight of the object.

Suddenly!!

There was a very strong current ripped me from the boat connecter and pulled me down.

Twisted and twirled in the current, I slowly lost my consciousness without knowing that I’ve went through another dimension. All I had in my head was the picture of my terrible death.

I woke up in a very strange atmosphere surrounded by weird looking creatures. Where is this place? Am I still dreaming?

In my panic, I saw a familiar face nearby. I was certain that it’s one of my fellow divers.

Page 21: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 22: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

I was shocked to find out that it was only another creature wearing a scuba suit.

Page 23: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 24: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Despite the disappointed turn out, the creature and I started to talk. Her name is Sam. She was doing a street performance, which would explain why she was wearing the suit. I told her about my mission and the unfortunate event that brought me here

Page 25: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 26: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Sam offered me a vacant apartment near her house that I could temporary stay there. The place that she brought me is a very tall building compare to the other around this area.

Page 27: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 28: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Things seemed to finally get settled when I have got a place to stay. It’s not much for this room but at least I could make it my temporary operation quarter. Maybe I should try to start sending Morse code to my crew.

In this situation, the safest thing is to wait for the rescue team.

I always felt some strange aura in the room during the night. Felt like someone was watching me sleep.

One night, I finally found the answer of my strange feelings when one of the unwelcome visitors woke me up during my sleep.

Their looks were definitely different from other creature in the world that I’ve seen so far.

Page 35: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 36: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

One of them told me that they were traveling musicians who came from a far far away place, making road shows. They were stuck here by the terrible accident without getting a chance to play their final performance.

Page 37: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 38: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

These poor musicians tried to ask many former residents of this room but those people always ran away before they could explain anything. Many bad rumours were spread and the room became infamous for the ghost story.

Page 39: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 40: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Maybe that I am an alien to this world, I didn’t find that these creatures could freak me out more than other people here. That’s why I got a chance to speak to them and became their audience. Every night they came with the different songs.

Page 41: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 42: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

One day, when they ran out of their songs to play, they said goodbye to me and disappeared. I’ve missed their music and found that I have had a trouble sleeping after they’ve gone.

Apart from Sam, there are only few people here who know that I exist. Most of them are the people who live in the same building as mine. So, I was a bit surprised to receive a letter from the postman today.

The letter was from my next-door neighbour, Diana. She was the first person who came and welcomed me with her home baked pie when I just moved in.

Page 49: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 50: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

In the letter, she asked me to help her taking care of her plants while she was away for a vacation.

Page 51: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 52: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

I’ve never been to other people’s room before. It is intriguing to be able to see the residents of these creatures. I guessed that her room must be nice and tidy. Then again, my assumptions were only based on her home cooked pie.

Page 53: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 54: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Tides of junks and furniture swept me to the other end of the corridor. It’s almost impossible to find anything in this room.

Page 55: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 56: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

That was something I didn’t expect from a girl’s room. I have found it is hard to believe that there could be any living thing rest inside this room.

Page 57: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 58: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

I think that there’s something she needs to worry about than her plants.

Sam came to visit me today with a bag filled with some strange seed I have never seen before. She called those weirld looking seeds chestnuts.

She said that she saw chestnuts were falling around the trees near her house so she wanted to try to cook it with me. Then she started to roast the chestnuts in the pot.

Page 65: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 66: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Suddenly, Chestnuts started to explode. Pieces of chestnuts flew in every direction and covered every inch of my room.

Page 67: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 68: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

The room became a war field, filled with the sound of the chestnuts explosions. We had to hide behind the counch for an hour till the situation has calmed down.

This is one of a very lethal food, I noted.

Sam called me out today saying that there was something I must see. When I’ve arrived to the location I could spot a gathering crowd.

Then I saw my partner, or what’s left of him.

He is dead... And so is my hope of going home.

Page 75: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 76: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

My heart is full with sadness and my head is full with questions. What happened to him? Did he get suck by the mysterious current with me at that time? Or was he a part of the rescue team that I was waited for? Is he dead because of me?

What should I do?

Page 77: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 78: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

Sam held a funeral for my friend since we don’t have any tradition for death. I also felt that I should do something to honour him for the last time.

Page 79: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

A detective came to me after the ceremony with something on his hand. He said it was an evidence and it had a note that might be addressed to me.

Page 81: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver
Page 82: The Observation Journal of Mr. Scubadiver

The detective’s evidence looks as same as the UFO that we’ve got but instead of an invitation, it was a welcome note. Maybe it’s time for me to start searching for this anonymous sender.

He must know something....
