Object clause introduced by “Who,whom,whose,which,what ”and “where,how,why,when”
Object clause introduced by “if/whether”
注: that 在句中无词汇意义,在从句中不能充当成分,在口语当中往往省略
e.g. 1. I hear (that) _______________________. (一小时后他会回来)
2. He said (that) ______________________. (他非常想念我们)
3. The teacher told us (that) ___________________________.

由从属连词 whether, if 引导的宾语从句
e.g.

if (whether) he will go to the park with us
whether (if) he can come
whether it is going to rain or not
If there’s “or not” ,we must use “whether” instead of “if”.
1. I hear (that) _he will be back in an hour_. (一小时后他会回来)
2. Can you tell me __where he is___. (他在哪儿)
3. Ask him _ whether (if) he can come __.
(他是否能来)
In object clauses, the words order is the same as in a statement.
