The concept of this pattern book is to

help students age 3-5 learn how to

spell to 15.

Pre-Reading Strategies:

To get the students excited in learning

I have the desks setup around the

room and we will sit on the carpet.

Reading Strategies:

1. I will book with my finger the words of the

book.

2. After 1 reading I will show the students

how to clap along with the rhythm of the

book.

I will then teach the students the numbers in

sign language.

I will write the letters on post-it

notes and give one to each child

and they will be required to place

themselves in the proper order.
