The Pikeville High School Alumni Association is offering two different selections of the Tervis Tumbler.

In 1946 Detroit Engineers Frank Cotter and G. Howlett Davis created the natural insulating power of air to

create a permanently sealed, double-walled tumbler. Finally, a way to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks

cold!

Combining the last three letters of each of their names, Cotter and Davis dubbed their new cup brand

“Tervis”.

Tervis tumblers were invented the same year as the microwave oven in 1946. How perfect that Tervis tum-

blers are microwave safe!

The 16 ounce tumbler is $15.00 and the 15 ounce mug is $12.00.

Shipping is available for our cost of $15.00.

A perfect gift for anyone!! If you are interested in purchasing one of these Tervis tumblers, please contact

any Alumni Board member.
