Liva Protégé ’16 started with the aim to provide exposure to the young fashion designers whoaspire to set a certain benchmark and make a name in the world of glitz, glamour and fashion.
After a huge success in 2015, The 2nd edition of Liva Protégé left everyone awestruck!Liva Protégé 2016 was initiated with posting recap videos from Liva Protégé ’15 and a
blogger activity where in bloggers spoke about their journey from Raw To Ramp encouraging budding designers to participate.
The journey began with a hunt for fashion designers studying across over 80 fashion institutes across India amongst which we received a large number of entries from major cities like Mumbai,
Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Ahmedabad We received over 500 entries pan India out of which 50 were shortlisted keeping in mind 5 entries per city post
which our participants went through a mentor round

THE SHORTLISTING PROCESS
Pre Jury RoundThe finalists went through a pre-jury round where they were judged by a panel of jury including Blogger Stephanie Timmins, Design head Liva Nelson Jaffery, Head of Merchandising at Pantaloons Nisha Pikle and Bollywood costume designer Vaishali Menon.
Elimination RoundThe mentors reviewed each participant and shortlisted 2 deserving participants per city who would then go ahead and create breath-taking designs that would be ready to hit the ramp.
The evening was one glamorous affair showcasing the 10 breathtaking collections created by
the finalists. Esteemed panel of jury including the very elegant Ms. Ananya Birla, Ms. Malaika
Arora Khan and the celebrated faces of the fashion fraternity Mr. Narendra Kumar Ahmed and
Mr. Vikram Bawa
